An intimate scrapbook of more than three hundred full-color and black-and-white photographs featuring America's most famous presidential family offers a realistic portrait of the Kennedys in the White House, from 1961 to 1963. 75,000 first printing.
I so enjoyed this book of the Kennedy White House years. The text is more than readable. It is informative and entertaining. You’ll find out what early family life was like for the Kennedys in the White House. What Jackie and Jack’s relationship was like. How the country felt about them and what they thought of them. Jack and Jackie brought a sophistication to America that the country had never seen or experienced before. Suddenly everyone wanted to dress better, to know more, to be like them. I loved the children anecdotes and found out great information about how Jack and Jackie managed the White House, the world they created, and the wonderful life they had. You will see them as people. Glamorous people but real people. This is a very personal insight. A wonderful book. I read it cover to cover.

What's not to love? A history of the Kennedy, rarely seen White House photos, and just a lot of goodness in 300 pages. If you love Jack and Jackie, this book will be a great read.
