Sam Taplin grew up in a beautiful valley in Yorkshire, where he dreamed of being a writer, and after three years reading other people's books at university he started writing his own. He's been doing it ever since. When he's not writing about lonely rabbits or inquisitive bears, he likes doing card tricks, writing songs and playing long games of chess by the fire.

May is learning about Spring. Yes, I know, Easter was last month. We were not able to get around to reading all our Easter books. I am surprised we were even able to read the handful of books that we did beside the nighttime stories. Like I mentioned before, the focus is spring. I think it's OK to read Easter books in May as well.

Ok, the review. This is an easy read for younger children. Has interaction flaps and introduces counting, animals and thinking. Though it is a younger children's book, my eldest thinks it fun finding all the eggs. Colorful illustrations that have a lot on each page to work with counting. With simple easy text to read.

This book was an Easter gift to my daughter from her great-aunt.
The Easter Bunny is hiding Easter eggs for her animal friends. This book covers the names of baby animals as well as finding things and counting to 5. I love that there are other animals hidden to find and you can even count flowers and things. The artwork is cute and clear with bold colours. The flaps are sturdy and fun. There are peepholes to guess the next animal to visit.
Libby (aged 2 and 5 months) really enjoyed this book and made me read it to her a few times in a row.

A fun lift the flap book. Look for the eggs the bunny has left behind, and at the end look for the very tired Easter bunny! Each page has a different animal.
