I agreed to go work on an alien planet, but I didn't realize that would include getting auctioned off to the highest alien bidder.
Not even an hour passed between waking up from cryo after arriving on the Tal planet and an alien getting the winning bid and taking me back to his mansion.
Strangely enough, he left me mostly alone. I was supposed to be a servant, so why did I feel so pampered? If only I could understand the mysterious Tal that bought me. The more time I spent in his house, the more I realized he wasn't the scary Tal I thought he was. But it didn't change the fact that he bought me, so why was I developing feelings for him?
Bought by the Alpha Alien is the first in the steamy Auctioned to the Tal Alien series. Each book features a different woman and her Tal. The series is loosely related to The Tal Warship Romances (starting with Her Alien Admiral ), but it isn't necessary to read them first.
I wanted to read it because I saw a tik tok with the period thing (he didn’t know what periods are in and asked her to show him). Yup… I am often very influenced reading a book because of a specific scene/ sentence.
Was it incredible ? No Did I read it ‘til the end and enjoyed it? Hell yeah!
It’s not the book of the year for me, but very nice reading it as a stand-alone (ik that there are more novels in the series but I don’t think I will read them).
Smut is good 🤭. I saw some people saying they expected more of it. But to my opinion it was a good amount 👍
Felt a bit disappointed as was hoping for more from an alien/human romance but felt like it was lacking. It had good potential but was just meh and the spice I'm afraid to say was also lacking. Not bad for a quick read and I enjoyed both books, I just wouldn't read them again 🙈
I'm actually such a whore for big Alien green/ blue (not picky) men. Anyways I enjoyed this, although I definitely wanted more 🌶🌶 but I liked this well enough. Even if I felt the romance was lacking but I still liked both MCs, so can't complain much.
I read this one morning because I saw on TikTok a scene where the alien was in awe of the girl’s period, and I don’t know that kind of did it for me for some reason. It was very short and overall enjoyable, but nothing memorable. I will not be reading the rest of the series. This is to me not as good as ice planet, Barbarian, which I love with all my heart.
