What the teacher will find useful is that these songs have been analyzed as to the range, meter, so-fa syllables used, and if there is a game. They're all kind of similar in that they're all old-timey; chickens on fence posts, goats, farmers, etc. Many of the songs are kind of obscure, but the book can be useful for finding songs to teach a particular thing.
