Y'all I am so beyond grateful to have read the ARC version of this book. In fact, because I loved the book, I still purchased the Kindle edition to support the author, the illustrator, and those involved in bringing this book to life. The illustrations had my toddler son and I in a trance because it is absolutely beautiful, vibrant, and depicts love through the dinosaurs exhibited throughout the book.

All the amazing things told from a parent, guardian, adult in a child's life to a child is wonderfully conveyed and rhymed with dinosaurs in mind. I could relate to the book so much because these are things I tell my children all of the time and because my last little person loves his Momma and some dinosaurs this was perfection. Things such as acknowledging the child's growth from the time they were born to where they are at now is a great thing to be told as it tells the child they were and are loved so much that as parents we loved watching and being along side them as they pave/paved their paths. Many pages express a parents validation to the child to embrace their emotions and they will have support through it all.

My only qualm with the story is the reference of the child being "the king of my world" as it tells me this would be gender specific instead of generalized to any child regardless of gender. It's the only quote that does this and I think could easily be replaced with "the mighty love of my world" or something along those lines. Otherwise this book has been a blessing to read to my son.

I Love You My Little Dinosaur is about a mother's love for their child and talks about the different ways that we can always feel like we need to give up and drop everything but she said that we need to accept that things are hard sometimes and it is okay to need help. Overall this book was really good but I would not read it to my class. It is more directed towards parents and their children and not teacher-student relationships. That is fine but I am glad that we are doing this project to sort of pick out what books work and what books do not based on who the audience is intended for and so on. This was a very sweet book though and if I was talking from a parent's perspective I would say this is a good read.

I really loved the book so much, became the word of affirmation are so beautiful to share to your kids and the illustrations are just so gorgeous and cute.
It teaches them about unconditional love and how their parent are always going to love them. That life can be hard, but it has great moments because they need to dream big, have a kind heart and courage. That all the matters is that they stray true to themselves, enjoy life and know that their parent love them.

Rose Rossner is fast becoming one of our families favorite authors. This book was so fun for our little family. My son loves dinosaurs and so this was a perfect pick for him. It is all about how the little dinosaur is so loved and is perfect for the family. I love how it tells how special they are, how “fiercely one-of-a-kind”. The story really captures and explains to our little ones how truly loved they are and how many unique ways they are special. There were wonderful, colorful and happy feeling illustrations that showed many different dinosaurs. This really added to the fun of the story. This is a perfect gift book for families of little ones. We received this as an ARC but will be adding it to our collection soon. You will love this little treasure. Share it with your family.

I read this with my 4 year old and we both enjoyed it! There's a great message to your children about how much you love them and care for them. There's some inspiration for how they should handle things and be themselves. The illustrations are stunning and the dinosaurs were a huge hit with my kid. I will point out that a lot of the messages feel like ones that I've read before. Even though, they are encouraging and sweet, it was a bit generic. Overall, we did enjoy it and the illustartions were a big hit! My son said "aw" many times with the mom and baby dinos!

This book is all right. I really appreciate the illustrations that are soft and textual. The story rhymes decently, but issues arrive with the cadence. The author is sometimes shoehorning the cadence in there, which makes it a tad tongue twister when reading aloud. The other thing that breaks up the cadence is the way the author has chosen to lay what words on what page. Sometimes the full stanza is on the page. Sometimes it’s half a stanza on this page half a stand on another. Then with the layout of the book in general, you have pages that are just illustrations and pages that are just words when most of the words could have been laid over the illustrations and been a much better. Overall, this book is not bad and there will be kids that thoroughly enjoy it.

This board book has cute, sweet illustrations of dinosaurs with their parents. There are many different types of dinosaurs represented here, and the pictures have lots of bright colors. The illustrations will appeal to both kids and adults, but the reason I'm not rating this higher is because the text is mainly geared towards adult's thoughts about self-esteem. The affirmations are the kinds of vague things you would see in a fortune cookie, and although many parents will find them meaningful, the book felt overly sentimental to me, and much of the text is too abstract for little kids.

This is such an encouraging and loving children's book! As a mom of boys, this was such a great read that was oriented towards boys, something we struggle to find. There are many great encouraging motivators in this book. The illustrations were amazing! So adorable! There are even messages "tailored" to the dinosaurs on that page. I can't wait until this is published so I can buy them for each of my boys!
Also something that was so simply but I loved, at the very beginning there was a to and from spot, love that for gift giving purposes.

This book was so good as a book to read for my son who is age 8. From the pictures to the story, this encompassed him and was a wonderful story. I loved how the story was written from a parent's perspective as the child grew up and followed them throughout life. Both the story and advice given in the book is life-long and serves as a reminder to children how much their parents love them throughout their lives. Fans of dinosaurs will greatly enjoy this perfect cuddle time book!

The rhyming lines and words of reassurance make this a perfect book to read while snuggled up to a child preparing for bedtime or just having a peaceful moment. The dinosaurs are all very cute and adults could open dialogue about the colors of the dinos for smaller children, or if the children are a little bigger and fans of dinosaurs, the adult can instead ask the child what kind of dinosaur is featured on each page. Either way, I think this makes for a fabulous cozy read!

This book is an adorably illustrated dinosaur book. A perfect gift for your child if they love dinosaurs. The book has a to and from page indicating it is meant to be given as a gift to a loved one. It is a cute book about being yourself and being loved by family, but it is a bit generic. It follows the same formula as most books written from the perspective of a loving adult telling their child that they’re brave and strong and loved, just with dinosaur pictures added. I think it could be better if they utilized the dinosaur concept more. Overall a cute book.

Such and adorable book. The artwork is very well done, the rhyming on point and the narrative is absolutely touching. A great book to read to your dinosaur loving littles to boost their self esteem and express your unconditional love as a parent. We already own its unicorn companion “I Love You, my Little Unicorn” and I can see I need to add the physical copy of this one to our collection as well. A sure fire classic kids book.

It's a cutesy little story. The dinosaurs were having the time of their lives dancing across the pages. However, the title is a bit misleading. It doesn't really have anything to do with dinosaurs, apart from the illustrations. They said roar twice and mentioned him hatching from an egg. My adult brain laughed at one point, when the mama dinosaur said to her baby, "by your side, I'll forever stay." All I could think was, you have a dinosaur saying that? The story could easily be paired with any subject if you changed a small handful of words. So it is not the most original, but it's cute.

My three year old loved this book when we read it together. The illustrations are great and the messages the mommy dinosaurs are telling the baby dinosaurs are exactly what our little ones need to hear and remember. We are always there for them and they can the who they are without fear. This is a great book for my son and one I will continue to read to him as long as he will let me!

Sometimes rhyming and sometimes not, the love that's shown is unforgettable. Sparkling stars and muddy puddles are what the baby dinosaurs see, and their parents are always there to help them. It's a very heartfelt book.

Quickly one of my newest favorite children's books. This was a heartfelt positive message book that this tugged on my heartstrings. It's everything that as a mother I want my 3 year old son to learn and know.

The dinosaurs and setting reminded me a bit of The Land Before Time movie characters. The baby dinosaurs are adventurous in the story and illustrations.

The illustrations were well done. The colors are subtle which I liked.

This was a super cute children’s book. I read it to my three year old, but we had to split it into multiple reads because it was too long for his attention span. He absolutely loved looking at the illustrations. The story itself is extremely sweet.

The age listed is 3-7 but I’d say it’s more of an advanced 4-7 year book. However, I would definitely add it to my kid’s bookshelf in a year or two.
