Good book for some inspiration. One issue I had though, and why I went from giving it a 4 star to 3 star review, is due to them giving a low/reduced fat items. Those items are notorious high in sugar and other processed items thus causing more issues, and the best part is they even notate this on one of the recipes. Because of this, the book felt disjointed. Recipes are good otherwise.

My 15yr old daughter received this book to review and I couldn't help but love the book so much that I too am reviewing it. In a country where heart disease is the number one killer and an action as simple as changing the way we eat can prevent heart disease, diabetes, and stroke (just to name a few.)You might be asking why a 15yr old was reviewing this book, but isn't that the perfect age to ingrain proper eating habits and encourage a life long love of taking care of ourselves? I often find that cookbooks geared toward a certain theme often have foods we do not typically eat in our household. We're not picky by any means, but rather have a standard taste pallete we don't venture to far from.

This book was full of recipes that my entire family found appetizing and appealing. It is broken up into sections such as starters, snacks, marinades, main dishes, sides, soups, and desserts which make meal planning very simple. We love to marinade our boneless skinless chicken breasts and this book offers a wide array of tasty sauces to appease any pallete with the Herb Marinade on page 59 being absolutely delectable. We couldn't resist trying the Tuscan Chicken and Roasted Vegetables on page 66 as well and found it was one of the easiest meals we have prepared in our NuWave oven and just might be a family favorite.

I would like to point out that my 15yr old daughter cooked all of the meals we have tried thus far in this book using her NuWave oven she received for her birthday. Not only is she learning good eating habits, she is learning valuable cooking skills that will take her through life and live with her as she continues to make healthy food choices reducing the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and, stroke. If only all adults could be this smart!

Some recipes were interesting but there were too many poultry, seafood, & fish recipes. I don't like poultry, seafood, or fish.
