Happiness uses fictional dialogues, in the manner of Plato's famous philosophical writings, to convey a compelling mix of Eastern wisdom and Western philosophy. This enlightening guide is organized into 20 dialogues, each dealing with a common source of unease. At the start of each one, the seeker asks a question, such as "How can I stop worrying so much about small things?" or "How can I feel more confident in my own abilities?" In the conversation that follows, the sage looks at the question from all sides, realistically and imaginatively. The seeker reacts with further questions, bringing readers into the process of discovering what makes them happy and how to attain it.
Ένα βιβλίο που υποτίμησα στην αρχή , αλλά τελικά πολύ όμορφο. όμορφο διότι παρά τα πολλά λόγια και τις πολλές ερωτήσεις σε κάθε κεφάλαιο, οι απαντήσεις δεν ήταν γενικές και αόριστες αλλά μεσα από το πρίσμα πολλών συγγραφέων και διανοούμενων, αυτές οι προσθήκες θα έλεγα σε ένα βιβλίο αποτελούν τα στολίδια της σοφίας τις εμπορίας και τις γνώσης. είμαι υπέρ του εντοπισμού του θετικού νοήματος της ζωής και όχι της χαράς μέσω της τηλεόρασης. δημιουργικότητα είναι η δημιουργία του θείου μέσα μας. Η διασκέδαση δεν είναι ευτυχία, κάνοντας πράγματα έρχεται η ευτυχία και γεμίζεις θετικές αναμνήσεις που θα πρέπει να κρατάς κάποια ενθύμια από αυτές τις πράξεις που έκανες. Ευτυχία Δημήτρη είναι να γέμισης την μέρα σου με οφελειμες δραστηριότητες, χρήσεις την ευτυχία στο παρόν και στο μέλλον.
This book could also be titled, "Happiness for Dummies." It has a similar format to the "dummies" books; they field questions that may (or may not) be running through your mind as they discuss how to cultivate positive emotions, find the value and blessing in the little things in life, and so on.
I'm most often an optimistic person, and consider myself to be around a 4 or 5 on the happiness scale (1-5) on any given day. This book provides a wealth of inspirational or thought-provoking quotes, as well as a variety of book titles and articles that the reader may want to investigate to find assistance with stress-reduction, attaining wealth, success, creativity, etc. In that regard, I give it the fourth star. I'm adding some of those books to my "to-read" list, just as soon as I'm done with this review!

I loved it! It's a very easy and simple book that talks about the 20 most relevant topics that affect our happiness. Topics such as peace, relashionships and health. I really liked the Q&A format that the writer uses in this book. I feel like the subjects mentioned are very well put together and organized, making the reading process very easy. Would recommend as a "daily 101 hapiness guidebook"! A must-have.
