Ten years after the death of the founder of Alexandrian witchcraft, a handful of witches camping at a secluded site in New Hampshire began experimenting with a spirit board. An entity responded and identified itself as 'Alex Sanders' and then proceeded to prove that claim to them.
I am not sure that I believe in voices from the beyond, but I have recently taken an interest in the Alexandrian Tradition of Wicca after hearing the vile and terrible attacks from a small time US internet radio host who is keen on self-publicity by being rude and horrible to others spend an hour + live on radio screaming abuse at women, straight men, worshippers of the Goddess Hekate, Alexandrian Wiccans and an author I much respect. As a result I decided to spend some time researching what it was about the Alexandrian tradition which upset this man so much, this was one of the books I discovered on my journey.
This is a wonderful journey of the witches who are calling on the spirit of their King, the magician Alexander Sanders, co-founder of the Alexandrian Tradition of Wicca, to talk to them from the beyond. It seems to be endorsed by a number of individuals who knew the King when he was alive who has put belief into the manifestations of his spirit, whilst those who performed the necromancy had not met him when he was alive (The King died in the late 1980's).
It is clear that Alexandrians are highly educated and ceremonially orientated individuals who will seek to further their knowledge and understanding by thinking outside of the box. So whether like me you disagree or have disbelief in the idea of necromancy with the dead, this book is a wonderful read and insight into the life of Alexandrians today, as well as that of the King himself. Recommended.
