disappointed that so few recipes showcased coconut oil (which is what I have in stock) however it can usually be substituted for butter without any troubles. I cannot wait to get some EVOO and try some of these recipes.

bonus points for grandma purp's laid back latkes Hanukkah recipe!

Exactly what i expected from the book! Great recipes, great advices, and a lot of weed references. Everything looks completely delicious too.

Lots of really amazing recipes, lots of veg and vegan recipes, too. Great photos. They also mention Kyle Kushman!

This is, perhaps surprisingly to some, a sober and sophisticated cooking book. Given the quasi-legal status, medicinal quality and mostly unknown culinary chemical complexity of its thematic ingredient, they make a great effort to dispense information critical to understanding how to safely make delicious food with this mysterious plant. It's fascinating just reading the introduction without the recipes.

I haven't tried any of the recipes but they do look quite delicious, and would certainly outclass the junk food cliché that may spring to mind.
