Well, 4 stars for what this book is, which I had no idea going into it... Yes, I genuinely had no clue that this was a romance novel, a Lady Chatterley's Lover of this era. It was predictable, reliable, and all-in-all just fine, thank you very much. No, I won't read the rest of the series. No, I don't recommend this as a "must-read" to my followers or anyone who has no interest in this type of book. P.S. The book is written from both Hottie-McHotty's and Experienced-Virgin's perspective, both with internal dialogue/their thoughts. Absolute classic... /sarcasm/
Also, maybe this type of book has a framework that every author uses, because it was very predictable: exotic guy meets plain-Jane girl; girl is pretty, guy is handsome; some of his quirks bug her, but overall she is sexually attracted to him; they finally shebang and deny that there are any mutual feelings, even though both acknowledge it in their internal dialogue; the two have to separate for some plot-related reason; neither can forget the other, realizing they both can't live without each other; the plot brings them back together "as if by fate"; they come back to each other and, bada-bang-bada-boom, everything is peachy and they live happily ever after. Blah blah blah - so unrealistic. Oh well, I suppose the books sell if the authors continue to publish them.
In terms of editing, there were several errors: the use of "Here, here!" when "Hear, hear!" is the correct phrase; the lovely waterfront market in downtown Seattle is known as Pike Place Market, absolutely no possessive!
