I’m teaching a gorgeous elf how to fit in with humans and now I’m falling in love.
With thirty-six looming on my horizon, I’m determined to have a child. I don’t need romance. I don’t need love. And definitely don’t need a happily ever after.
When my friend talks me into attending an elf ball at an estate in Monsterville, promising I’ll find a guy there who’ll give me what I’m seeking, I agree to go with her.
I’m barely there when I fall into the arms of the most gorgeous elf I’ve ever seen, Tylik. He’s the LOTR elf of my dreams, so it’s a good thing I’ve sworn off romance.
Tylik needs someone to teach him how to fit in with human society. I need a bundle of joy. We’ll help each other, then end things with no looking back.
But between teaching Tylik how to drive and showing him that ice cream is amazing, I fall in love. What if he doesn't feel the same?
Oops, I Elf’d it Again , Book 7 in the Monsterville, USA Series, is a spicy monster romcom. Each book is standalone and best if read in order (see below). Expect romantic hijinks with monsters, heat, and a happily ever after.
Check out the entire Monsterville world!

AVA ROSS fell for men with unusual features when she first watched Star Wars, where alien creatures have gone mainstream. She lives in New England with her husband (who is sadly not an alien, though he is still cute in his own way), her kids, and assorted pets, including a yorkie pup and three cats.
Le pongo un poco mas porque si tuvo mas trama la verdad, aquí si me divertí un poco pero después del 60% se pierde un poco eso que se me hizo mas entretenido y me perdieron. De cualquier forma fue mas interesante y veremos si el próximo mejora.
❤️ “I like making you melt.” ~~~ Kate is such a wonderful woman! She’s kind, feisty, brave and so friendly. Even more, I loved her honesty, directness and that she never hesitated to stand up for herself. I loved her so, so much!
And Tylik is such an amazing male! The herbal apothecary is so sweet, kind, polite, thoughtful and respectful. And he’s so protective of the people he cares about. All he wants is to remain in the human realm, but being part of a powerful fae family comes with duties. I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about this gorgeous and charming elf!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Kate and Tylik! From the moment they met, their attraction was strong. But Kate only needed a baby daddy and Tylik needed a wife so that he could stay in the human realm. But, the more time they spent together, the more their arrangement turned into something more. I loved those two together! They were so sweet and their chemistry was fantastic. And I love all the moments when Kate helped Tylik learn more about human customs and delicious food. I also loved Tylik’s determination to prove to Kate that they were meant to be. And when they couldn’t keep their hands off each other, the passionate moments they shared were so hot! Tylik and Kate were so perfect for each other and more than deserved to find happiness, love and family together.
Overall, the story is another sweet, fun and wonderful addition to the series and I absolutely loved every page of it!
This one was one of my favorite of the series! I loved the humor the author added since Tylik doesnt have the knowledge about the human realm at all haha. He is making a lot of mistakes but he is trying, which was why it was so endearing. I loved his attempts, seeing Kate trying to be gentle with him and help him out. I think the deal they strike is pretty crazy but I like how it enfolds.
I liked how they had chemistry right off the bat but it wasn't insta-lust. I appreciated how they fell in love. Their dates, trying to teach him how to drive a human vehicle, how they try to get around his meddling aunt haha. I liked his world as well, it sounded so beautiful and magical. I liked Kate's bestie and who she was falling for hahaha. Their story is next, review soon to come! I liked this one didnt have a crazy amount of angst or third act break-up. There was some miscommunication or lack there of but with the drama thrown in, they get on the same page and get their HEA.
Audio was good again, same comments as previous ones and wished we got some variety with narrators since these creatures are all so different. It does mean when there are cameos we get similar performances from previous books so that was a plus. I thought the giddiness and innocence was done so well by these two but they also stepped it up with the smexy scenes and chemistry. I loved they were such a good match for each other.
I fell in love with Tylic who is an Elf! He’s gorgeous, tall, strong, sweet, and talented. What’s not to love? Kate’s father deserted her and her mother when she was very young, and her mother is a good person who, unfortunately spent most of her time being there for everyone who needed her…except her daughter. Kate badly wants a child of her own, and is looking for a baby daddy; no strings, no personal feelings wanted. Tylic wants to stay in the human realm, but has a lot to learn about fitting in there. He also wants to abdicate his dukedom to be himself, a magical pharmacist, and artist. His duchess aunt agrees if he can marry within a week, and she can see that he’s trying to learn about fitting into the human world, she will allow it. A deal is struck between Kate and Tylic, with a few conditions on each side. Tylic finds himself quickly falling for this beautiful human woman, and longs to make her his permanently. Will he be able to change Kate’s mind? Or will his heart be broken when Kate conceives a baby? Read this sweet and spicy story and find out! Note: This book contains graphic sex.
We're back in Monsterville and this time we have a human lady who desperately wants a baby and an elf who is looking to marry a human so he doesn't have to return to the fae realm. Kate doesn't care about romance or if the guy sticks around after (or so she thinks). Tylik isn't expecting to fall for whoever he ends up marrying.
Guess what? They're kind of a match made in heaven. Not for the reasons they expect, either. Kate likes Tylik and it doesn't take long until she's imagining the two of them raising their baby together. Tylik likes Kate and can absolutely see them staying together long term.
The problem? Kate has trust issues and Tylik agreed to the terms she originally set out. His solution? Make her fall so hard for him that she chooses to stay despite her claims of not wanting to be in a relationship.
A little subterfuge, a sweet little hobbit-house, a whole lot of lovin', friends, family, and two people who find each other at exactly the right time. *thumbs up*
I adored this book. I loved how absolutely clueless the MMC in regards to humans, their customs, and slang, and how patient and understanding the FMC was in regards to getting him on his feet and helping him learn how to blend in.
I will say, the entire fake dating/marriage plot started bc she wanted to have a child, and so it was a little disappointing (as much as i hate children ew) to not see her get what she wanted out of their bargain, even though they get their HEA in the end.
All in all, the book follows the same pattern of the series in that I wish there were more details and deep diving into the relationships between the characters. This one was a step in the right direction with not having the crazy ex, insane parents, or life threatening push the characters together aspect, and I am hoping that they continue to follow this trend of actually building the characters organically :)
I am loving this series and this Monsterville world as I get to know each of its residents. We've met Tyler from the previous book and it's his story of finding love. Actually, it's Tylik's and Kate's love story.
It was a one week relationship, but the attraction was there, they just needed the push to be with the other. I also loved the bestfriend Seyla, I can't wait to read her story.
It's also wonderful to meet the other characters from the other series in the books. I can still remember their love story. I loved knowing that some of them have children of their own now and the love is still there. I would like to know our MMC's life after the wedding and the honeymoon and enjoying their own bundle of joy.
I love monster love all because both the FMC & and MMC fall for each other, and both think the other doesn't want them for some strange reason or another. This is exactly what is going on here.
Tylik and Kate start off as an agreed upon arrangement, and somewhere between the ice cream and the driving lessons, they fell in love. Everyone could see it, but those two. By the wedding, they knew that expressing their love was inevitable and a must.
I have to say that I want a story, a novella for Uncle Bub and Aunt Vi,and can we get one for Aunt Finni, too? These three are hilariously full of mischievousness and love.
Tylik and Kate have a quick and steamy courtship full of laughs and discoveries. This was a sweet story set in Monsterville. Many of my favorite characters from the series were included, and a few new ones were introduced. Monsterville sounds like a town I would love to live in! What a fun group of residents! Tylik’s human learning curve was fun, and his missteps were even funnier! Throw in one jealous elf, a few matchmaking older folks, a lifelong best friend, and absentee parents, and this was a satisfying visit among friends. Humor runs through all of Ava Ross’ creations, and this story was no exception! Can’t wait for the next installment in this series!
This series is one of my favourites but I have to admit that I think it is the writing that makes it so. The characters while all "monsters" are so well done, you don't get the standard stereotypes much beyond the looks and it is as it should be. You can have a happy troll or surly fairy. I loved that the may to december romance here was pointing the other way, especially as those elves usually long outlast us brief flashes of light humans. I admired Kate for chosing what she wanted and having the guts and determination to see it through. Tylik was sweet and the progression of their relationship, however it may have started was wonderful. Looking forward to the next one!
This is such a fun series! I loved Tylik and Kate and how their romance unfolded. Kate was a gal to admire - honest, feisty and brave. Tylik was beyond fab for a book boyfriend, so sweet and kind ;) Both needed something from the other and the more time they spent together, the more it was apparent that they were getting more than they 'wanted' ;P With an entertaining and fun plot, fab chemistry and steamy romance, this was an engaging read. I also loved the time with previous characters and really can't wait for the next book to come out. Good fun!
Monsterville is the place to be! Now, if only we had a place like this around here. I loved the storyline; the FMC had one idea and goal on her mind and set it out to get it. Sure, there might have been a bit of a challenge of getting it done, but once she accomplishes it, sparks fly, and I love that Tylik is game. Now Tylik, the MMC, has his own agenda, but I'm so glad he is true to himself and follows through. The story is romantic, entertaining, and spicy and has a dash of drama we all love. It was page-turner from start to finish, and one I'd recommend.

Tylik (mmc, monster) Kate (mfc, human)
Tylik needs to marry, and soon. His aunt gives him 1 week, or he must return to the fae realm and become the Elf Duke. Kate wants a baby, but she doesn't trust love. Her father walked out on the family, and her mom is more concerned with her charity work. According to her, if you love them, they leave you. Can they make this fake marriage real?
You're going to have to go a long way to find a male I loved as much as Tylik! He is so sweet and innocent. Kate is his perfect match. How I LOVE these Monsterville stories. Always so satisfying and so well written. Monsterville is a place I want to live. There is so much to this book. So much romance and love. A little bit of mean girl but a ton of family love. And such a joyous HEA! Ave Ross you did it again!
Oops, Ava Ross did it again…a ten star read with this addition to her Monsterville series! Well written and extremely entertaining, this story follows the budding relationship between Tylik and Kate. I especially love that Ross always brings in some of the previous characters that you have fallen in love with. And you will fall in love with each and every one of them. This is the prefect read for fans of this genre. Excellent ❤️❤️❤️
What Kate wants more than anything is a baby. She decides she'll find a baby daddy in Monsterville. Tylik receives an ultimatum from his aunt. Find his mate and marry in a week. What could go wrong? Ava is an amazing storyteller giving us plot twists, secrets, sweet steam, matchmaking, and friends. Her characters are richly described and her locations are too. I really enjoyed reading this sweet sweet tale.
Kate wants a baby & Tylike intends to stay in the human realm. The two devise a grand plan to marry so she gets the baby and he gets to stay. Fortunately for them, both, Monsterville has a crazy kind of magic, and they fall in love. Of course, there is a kink in the plans as a female Elf wants the prestige of a relationship with Tylik and tries to cause trouble. It was sweet and romantic and I hope Kate's friend Seyla finds her one true love before the series ends!
This book was a fairytale come true. When you get an elf who is almost a Nobel you have a very interesting story. Add in an aunt that puts her finger into his live life and bam. Tylik is that fae and he agrees to the most bazaar proposal ever. He will be the baby daddy to a human female. Kate knows getting the HEA is hard so she is skipping ahead to just be a mom instead. So getting an other baby daddy is the plan. Bim bam thank you ma’am out comes baby.
Fun, fast read with lots of heart and steamy love scenes
Ava Ross delivers again! Her Monsterville series is filled with couples finding their HEA. Tylik and Kate had a fun setup to their romance and lots of sweet funny moments preparing for their wedding. She helped him fit in more in the human world and he gave her a home. Really enjoyed watching their attraction grow and their hearts get entangled. This series has the perfect balance of funny, sweet, and steamy moments.
This entire series is terrific and this story is no different. Unbeknownst to Kate and Tylik, they have been set up by Tylik's Aunt Finni and Granny Vi and Uncle Bub. Kate and Tylik make an arrangement for marriage where each would get what they want - Kate a baby and Tylik to stay in the human world. As Kate shows Tylik things in the human world, they fall hard for each other. This is a sweet romance with humor and a few surprises here and there but all ends happily.

I liked this, i tried to read 2 other books in the series and couldnt finish it for some reason, i wasnt fully swept in and couldnt get into it. I didnt wanna give up on the author and she has a lot of books and i love supporting our fantasy authors. I really liked tylik and kate. I liked how kate wasnt so fixated on her views regarding relationships.
This series is wonderful and each story gets better than the last. An arrangement becomes so much more for Tylick and Kate in this very sweet read. Secondary characters add to the charm of the story. Lead characters from previous books make an appearance and future leads are introduced.
As I’ve said and will continue to say, I absolutely adore the Monsterville USA universe of stories! I literally can’t get enough. This book was the most comedic, by far. Tylik (our Elfish Hero) had me laughing so hard I was tearing up! Then we had Kate our independent and goal driven heroine. Like all monster romance books, we are gifted with another story that focuses on “opposites attract”. I loved the whole “learning & growing” aspect about Tylik & Kate’s story. It definitely is a heart-warming monster romance… that everyone should read!
This is such an amazing series and this one has quickly become my favorite. Tylik so desperately wants love and a wife, little did he know he didn't need to look far. Kate's whimsical approach for her future glows brightly when an unexpected opportunity lands at her feet.
Oops I Elf’d it Again by Ava Ross is a beautifully romantic addition to Monsterville. It has romance, comedy, amazing side characters, and of course, a happily ever after. Both Tylik and Kate are so sweet it’s hard not to love them. Honestly, this series is one terrific book after another!
This series is the cutest ever! Tylik and Kate's story is do much fun and heartwarming. Tylik just wanted a fake fiance and Kate just wanted a Baby and they got so much more! Another book great for an afternoon at the beach or the cabin. Amazing. I'm very curious about Kate's best friend and Vrok.
I loved this story. Tylik and Kate’s tale was sweet and fun. Their chemistry was amazing and I loved all of the fantastical elements to it. I also enjoyed once again to getting to see all the wonderful characters from the Monsterville series. Great book.
