This author's focus is more on historical accuracy than narrative accessibility, yet the facts add up to a sobering realization that a long time ago, subjects of rulers were told to believe that the bible they were given was from ancient times.

The construction of Christianity was a process that took hundreds of years to evolve. Christianity was first seated at the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople (today Istanbul) and was finally moved to Europe in 1445.

The alphabet chart showing the derivation of the Roman and Greek phonetic system; the bibliography that includes "The Outline of History" by H.G.Wells; and an index listing schismatic controversies that were addressed at the several councils leading up to the establishment of Christianity as we have it today all give the book credibility and give the reader leads to independent research.

This author has a bias toward god-belief, yet urges readers to reject man-made religions. I learned a lot of political history here, the evolution of the phonetic alphabet, and a new awareness of the role of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism today.

This is an excellent book that every home library should have. If you've ever had any questions about christianity, this book can answer them for you. Walter Williams does a great job with self accountability, explaining the history behind the images associated with Christianity and detailing the councils (not just the nicene council) leading to Christianity.

Great starter book, the size is not intimidating. I implore you to read it if you havent already.

Well, there is much to be said for this book. The first is mind blowing. Second it is almost unbelievable. Eye opening. There are interesting lines of research that one can pursue after reading this work and I intend to pursue a few of these lines.
Read it, you must but be ready to be woken up from your slumber.

“Step outside of all religions, religious literature and any other literature and question the very foundation of the institutions responsible for creating, housing, and disseminating such literature. Question who were the players who wrote the literature, when was it written, what was the motive, how and when by whom was it actually documented, why so many variations and what are the original meanings of words and names ?”

“As with so many treasures from Africa that have been renamed, relabeled or stolen, the alphabet is no exception.”

“The reason is that the European religious and academic communities have erased the Coptic Egyptian origin of Christianity thereby creating a total European (I.e. racist) world view of Christianity. This is done by getting you to believe that god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, Jesus the Christ, to save the world from sin. This is teaching you, the believer, to believe that gods only begotten son is European with long flowing blond hair, blue eyes, and a heavy facial beard (I.e. giving the illusion that the European is the embodiment of god on earth in the form of the incarnated Jesus the Christ). At this point, you are encouraged to embrace this European image as your personal savior and god. This starts you to subconsciously act docile in the presence of Europeans which gives them the illusion then that they should think, act and feel superior over people of African descent and other races of color.”

Very informative book. Easy to read. Lots of data. Repetitive style of the author helps to retain the information. Highly suggest inquisitive minds open this book and study.

There has never been a man that ever walked the earth in human form of any race, creed, or color by the name of Jesus Christ.

Before you denounce or accept the above quote it is essential for you to read The Historical Origin of Christianity.

Author Williams’ research led him to understand that Ancient Egyptians were Negroes.
…Christ/Savior was created from the image of Ptolemy I, Lagi, an uncivilized European who tried to get himself accepted into our … Egyptian ancestors’ priest society.

Malcolm X said it best: just because Europeans are the dominate race does not mean they are superior, but means that they are the most brutal and will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo.

What an education!

The research gave me something to ponder.

I found The Historical Origin of Christianity well written and well researched.
I’ve read other books on disproving the existence of Jesus Christ and they all had validity but the researched presented is reason enough to read The Historical Origin of Christianity whether or not you believe in Jesus Christ or in religion.

The Historical Origin of Christianity has made me smarter today than I was yesterday about religion and gave me pause to stop and question what I’ve been told and to do my own research on everything.

Thanks to Dr. Walter Williams for this analytical research on the Historical Origin of Christianity. I’m very thankful for this beautiful piece of information that actually deals with the facts involved in these false man made religions and answers the hard questions that no religious person would be willing to admit. This book is a must read for all Black people, and the soon you read it the better off you’ll be. 👌🏾

A must read book for the deluded humans, what an absolute waste of time, as someone that spent most of his time researching different religions this man over hear talks straight up BS. My advice for anyone seeking information about Christianity is to read more about it yourself and take the time to actually research.

Interesting take, but very little fundamentation. Some word etymological connections are a stretch.

This seems like the kind of tirade someone trying to rescue african pride and tie it to egyptician idols would do. He trashes christianity, left and right, as a false religion based on egyptian and roman figures.

It's interesting; some points may have relevance; but it's mostly wild speculation.

It is very difficult to accept anything Walter Williams writes in this book. His claims are really out there.
