Shawn Donnelly can't even go on a little weekend getaway with her old college chums without running into a corpse or two - and don't even ask about her new co-worker who seems to have an entirely unnatural interest in the serial killer recently running rampant in the Detroit metro area.

Ok this might be a spoiler for some so don't say I didn't warn you:
There are three things I had a problem with in this book:
1. The ending left me wanting a lot MORE! hint hint hint Ms. Szymanski
2. While the story lines were very interesting there just wasn't enough time to develop the characters properly
and
3. She drinks pepsi instead of coke and worse yet its DIET!!
Other than that the book was great. The different "acts" of the book were interesting and really drew me in. The characters were exciting and I really wanted to know more about them, what their back stories were and how they stayed friends all these years. Sexy, mind boggling, mysterious, impish, and fun... can't wait for the next chronicles....
