This is a training manual for people who have the guts to go professional in the field. Tarot is not for everyone, it is so brutally honest and prediction scares most people away from being readers, not being read for. That's because human nature fears ridicule and what happens if you see death on the table?

I had a client not too long ago who came back after a year. She'd been a bit perplexed when I'd told her she'd be in love with the Man from Snowy River. Her key, though, at the end if the consultation was "If you're invited and there's no reason not to go then go."

She was invited to a school reunion (I think she said from. . . maybe . . . 30 years ago. She went. She met a guy who looked like a ragged Robert Redford who remembered when her birthday was. Later in the evening he got up on stage and did his little bit: "There was movement at the station for the word had got around that the colt of Old Regret had got away..."

I don't remember saying this stuff till they come back.

Beautiful Kate learned Tarot by this book. She's in Darwin. Today's 11th August 2012. She's booked out till the end of September. I never thought I'd be able to write this book because information keeps morphing but I'm glad now.

This book is intensive and thorough and wonderful. It not only covers tarot as a divination tool but also delves into Qabalah and it's relationship to tarot. The author gives such a rich overview of tarot, what it can do and how powerful it truly is. There are two main types of people that will read this book; those entirely new to tarot and those that already have some understanding of tarot. I can't say how a complete novice would digest this material, it is a ton of information and should be taken slowly. I was in the latter category, I thought I knew tarot, but wow I have learned a lot. The funny thing is, this book will not only teach you about tarot (and Qabalah), but it led me to new and greater understandings of my own Witchcraft practice. The author writes from such clear experience and that shines through on every page. It is a beautiful book that taught me a lot and I highly recommend it!

I have enjoyed De Angeles' work since having read her two limited edition works (Feast of Flesh and Spirit, which is her poetry, and Genesis - Legend of Future Past which is her "fantasy"....both are incredibly good, and I hope she releases them again sometime...)

This one is excellent. Very good work on linking up a number of concepts that make this book rather unique, and express her path extrodinarily well. (It is one of the few books that also make me inclined to actually buy another tarot deck...the one that she uses in this book looks to be well done.)

Very informative and in-depth tarot teachings. I don't necessarily agree with all interpretations compared to some other teachings I've had, but it's a good perspective
