Rock My World
A three-day bed-in is the perfect way for aspiring DJ Erica Gibson to get on air. This promotional stunt could even lead to her having her own show on the radio. Too bad she'd cohosting with the station Lothario rather than hottie Adam "the Hawk" Hawkins.Her wish is granted when Adam shows up on location. Dream job and dream guy...does life get any better? After everyone leaves and the lights go out, Erica seduces him. While their steamy after dark activities go against the station's rules, they agree that what happens in the bed stays in the bed. Back at work those forbidden adventures still tempt them. Then again, there's nothing like the thrill of the forbidden...

These two are in love? Really? I didn't get that out of the story at all. I saw a lot of lust between Adam and Erica and jealousy on the part of Bonnie but no love.
I though I'd like this book because I like radio and some of the personalities that I listen to but if I had to listen to blatant flirting over the air and all of the crap that went on in this book, I would change stations. I found the so-called "bed-in" revolting and unrealistic. I'm not saying that it hasn't happened somewhere but I sure wouldn't tune into something like that nor would I show up to see these DJs hang out in bed. It almost reminds me of that stunt between John Lennon and Yoko Ono back in the day when they did interviews from bed. Ugh!
There's a lot of sex in the book, borderline pornography complete with the crass language that goes with it, but I didn't feel anything for the characters other than revulsion and sometimes contempt. Adam, Erica and Bonnie and even Bonnie's boyfriend, Doug, were the most pathetic characters I've come across in a long time.
I'm actually embarrassed that I put this up on my Goodreads book list. I love a good romance and I'm not embarrassed about my choice to read them and enjoy them but this one here crossed the line. It was smut garbage.

Aspiring DJ Erica is promoting a mattress company's fundraiser event and agrees to do a three day bed-in with super sexy DJ Adam. The fundraiser is for the homeless shelter so what could go wrong? But the temptation of the forbidden never seemed so good when the lights go out and they're left alone after dark...
Rock My World is one of my favorite Blaze novels. It was the first book I read in the Harlequin series. Super hot and fun.

Just could not like the Heroine in this one. She was too much "that girl" that sleeps with a guy then gets "obsessed" (her word) and pursues him relentlessly (even getting his address and showing up at his house). Admittedly all works out in the end (despite her crazy), but you just don't get that these two have formed a love connection. Some steamy scenes, but just okay overall.

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first book I've read by Cindi Myers but it won't be the last.

She takes control and he uses a condom. This is good enough for me.
