About the author

Kirsty Logan is a professional daydreamer. She is the author of two novels, The Gloaming and The Gracekeepers, and two story collections, A Portable Shelter and The Rental Heart & Other Fairytales. Her fifth book, Things We Say in the Dark, will be published on Halloween 2019.

Kirsty lives in Glasgow with her wife and their rescue dog. She has tattooed toes.

This is the story after the story. Glimpses of the kind of love so many search for. Two lives entwined, stolen glances and secret smiles. The every day things made magical. May we all be so lucky.

What a beautiful read! Delicate and enchanting - this is one I'll definitely be rereading soon. I marked so many lovely passages in this very short novel and I think that some would look wonderful in my Moleskine accompanied by some sketches.

I have seen everyone rave on about Kirsty Logan but wasn't sure if she was for me but really wanted to try her out so when I saw this short story on Kindle for £1.50 I jumped at the chance to buy it, as I thought it wasn't for me, Kirsty can write by all means and this story is very real of a relationship but also not very much is going on, I like my stories more plot based. I don't think I will be giving any more of Kirsty's work a go.
