Despite the name, I did not read this book in the bathroom, but the stories are geared to be a length suitable for a quick trip or to read a few during a longer visit. The book was themed to give silly awards to real people, places or things. Essentially, it's the kind of thing you would read to gain esoteric knowledge in the event you qualify for a show like 'Jeopardy!' or 'Who Wants to be A Millionaire?' but otherwise is full of a whole bunch of useless trivia. Of course, when you're in the bathroom, do you really want to be contemplating quantum physics or how to keep terrorists from attacking your homeland? Me, I'd rather read about an ice hotel, the meanings behind famous first lines in books, or Lauren Bacall's legendary voice.
