This one is so much better than the first one! Much more believable. I liked the main characters. I do wish it would have went a little deeper. Quick, sexy, entertaining read. 3.5 stars
Two brothers who like sharing, one lonely girl, few hot nights. And suddenly the men disappear and the girl is left alone with the outcome of these hot nights. Their story goes back and forth between the past and the present and this was a bit confusing and tiring, since the most interesting parts of their love story were in the past while their present was only an ongoing adventure. I got bored with the two brothers trying to find ways to explain the past misunderstandings. On the other hand, the sex scenes were totally hot and they worth all the fuss. BDSM was light.
OMFG!!! Jessa you pissed me off to no end! What the hell?? I really would have loved this story but the lead heroine COMPLETELY did me in! She was so immature and obtuse. I get her anger in the beginning, it was justified...UNTIL Burke and Cole explained everything to her. Once everything was out in the open and all was revealed her continued anger, hurtful words and constantly calling them "liars" was over the top and annoying!!! Come on, these men went on missions to free enslaved women who were sexual tortured and confined and she was upset because she wanted to "feel important too". Give me a break! Not to mention the fact that those two guys constantly kissed her ass...and she still found lame ass excuses to be mad!! GRRRR!!! The only reason this book got two stars was for the guys! Burke and Cole were effing HOT. Cole was a dominant and I loved it when he got angry and told it like it was! I just feel sorry they got stuck with that twit Jessa!
⭐️5/5 omg!!! i honestly had low expectations for this because i didn’t LOVE the first book but this was SOOO GOOD!!! i was literally hooked the entire time!!! cole, burke, and jessa’s connection was actually so so so deep- i loved every second of their development:))

🌶️4.5/5 sooo good- definitely review the trigger warnings!!!

i would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a pretty quick, spicy, yearning filled read!!!💗
This book disappointed me, as with the last one in this series. I just didn't connect with any of the characters, and it felt very rushed. Basically the whole book takes place in a motel room. Wtf?
I was pissed at Cole and Burke. They were idiots for leaving Jessa just because they thought she was married. If they loved her so much wouldn't they at leasttry and fight for her?! That didn't make sense to me. I also thought it wasn't cool that they left her for so long without contacting her at all and just expected her to wait for them unquestioningly. Not very considerate. Why does it have to be up to the woman to contact them when they were the ones who left her?
Jessa's anger was completely understandable to me. I know some people thought she was bitchy and held on to her anger for too long, but she was royally fucked over by them, even though it was unintentional. She lost her virginity to them and they leftdays later, she gets pregnant, is completely alone, they never contact her, and she has to have they baby alone thinking they abandoned her. And then they just show up and expect her to forgive them. Um, no. I was surprised she was able to get over it as fast as she did.
Just like in the last book, there was the annoying "poor me" attitude from one of the men, in this case Cole. That drives me crazy! I can understand him having self doubt and not understanding how someone could care about him considering his past, but the whole shutting down thing is annoying. If you love her, fight for it!! Luckily he gets over it after a while, but man that was unfortunate.
To me it was obvious who was aiding Marco the whole time, which really took away from the tension of the book. I thought Marco's character as a villain was really under-developed. He was never that scary to me. I can think of numerous different angles the authors could've gone to make him more villainous and threatening, but it never happened. Now that I think about it, none of the characters were that well developed... *Sigh*
Some of the only good things about this book were the sex scenes (which were pretty hot, but not scorching), and the cameo of the characters from the last book. I also kind of liked the flashbacks to when Jessa first meets and spends time with Cole and Burke. Regardless, I can't help but compares this series to Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries series, and its sodisappointing in comparison. This may be the last book in the series I read :/
This would get one star from me if not for some genuinely adorable scenes with the baby (the most likable character in the book) and the two excerpts of other titles at the end of the book, either of which at least shows more originality than this book. I'm desperate to read the one about the smut author who sings and dances when she's inspired and blocks out sex scenes with Barbies. She sounds a lot like me.
It's just bland, unromantic, and kind of disturbing. This is the third 'ménage romance' I've read (although one of them wasn't a ménage by the end), so maybe I'm wearying of the concept. It's not even funny any more. One woman loving two (or more) guys, even simultaneously, I'm fine with. But this idea of two guys who are somehow incomplete unless they're a package deal... that sounds pathetic to me. A guy who doesn't want to get it up without his brother in the room... I'd call that being gay for the brother, personally. Instead it's pitched as them complementing one another well sexually because one of them is indulgent and the other aggressive. So now we need another man to keep one of the men in check? Sounds a little like a situation I wouldn't want to be getting into.
And then, there's the Alpha stereotype. I think I'd be open to that in a story if done well. What Alpha seems to mean to some authors is a guy who has some serious insecurities from his past and takes these out on his lovers by being needlessly aggro - sometimes to or past the edge of non-con. The one thing I respect about the woman in the book, Jessa, is that she doesn't dwell on the bad stuff in her past more than a normal person would. Her parents have rejected her for not wanting to be in the family business, but she never really seems to have let that get in the way of what she wants. While the two guys, who are, for the record, total heroes who at the start of the book have returned from rescuing girls kidnapped to foreign brothels, are still emoing over some things their uncle said to them when they were kids. They're drawn to Jessa because she seems to instinctively know how to 'handle' them. I suspect I'd be 'handling' them by telling them to get over themselves.
I guess I'll never understand the female desire to 'fix' a guy - let alone two - and I certainly wouldn't be putting up with any 'Alpha' would-be Dom who's just a big whiny baby. But for all purposes, Jessa's not that much brighter than the guys. She gets pregnant because she has de-condom'd sex with the two guys four days after starting the Pill. Now, a lot of people, without having been on the Pill, realise it takes a little while to be as effective as it is. The two guys, who have certainly been around the block and must realise she's probably just gone on them, don't ask questions. They haven't been tested but know they're clean, disease-wise. (I, personally, wouldn't be trusting guys with a penchant for buttsex who are so easily convinced to forego the penis-hat.) Jessa doesn't know she's not totally covered because she rushed out of the clinic not wanting 'a lecture'. And apparently didn't read the directions that came with the prescription? She doesn't ask any female friends for advice, either, because she has none. The two guys are enough for her, she indicates. Yeah, at this point I started to get the impression that Jessa was just as juvenile as her lovers, only in a more subtle way.
The one thing that both intrigued and baffled me was the safe word Jessa chooses. 'Resolution'? It's four syllables! Wouldn't you want something a little shorter to spit out in a panic? And it's a weird choice anyway, but this is never remarked on or explored. And that's pretty much the standard throughout the whole book. Anything remotely interesting is ignored in favour of boring generic three-person sex scenes and stilted, unbelievable action scenes. I found myself dreading the inevitable final sex scene. At least there wasn't an epilogue. How did anyone think publishing this was a good idea?

I'm still not completely sold on this series. I can't quite put my finger on the exact reason but I just can't seem to connect with the characters or develop a vested interest in them. They are likable enough and really good to their woman but it just all seems so scripted and less emotion driven.
Brothers Burke and Cole share their women. That's always been what makes them the happiest. So meeting Jessa they thought they had finally found the one that would be theirs forever. It was love at first sight for all of them. Their top secret job took them away and a series of misinformation and lies tore them apart. Now, someone is trying to kill her and all of the truth is coming out.
I am on the fence if I will give the next book in this series a read or not. I guess we'll see.
When Burke Lennox saw Jessa Wade for the first time, he knew she was different. Even though his twin Cole refuses to get involved while on a difficult assignment that could put her in jeopardy, the three of them form a bond that they can no longer resist. A few days later, Cole and Burke have to leave to finish their work promising to return and pursue a life filled with hope.
A year later, an urgent message from Jessa comes and Burke and Cole finally get to see the woman who broke their heart. Everything they had found out about her in the year they have been away, becomes blatantly obvious that someone has betrayed them trying to keep them apart. Now they have to keep Jessa safe as well as try to win back her trust.
Without saying to much to give away key points of the story as it unfolds this was an excellent book. Cole is my favorite, dark and dangerous while Burke is the ray of sunshine. Fantastic addition to the series.
**Reread, excellent story. I can't wait until the next one.
Yay for trios! Burke and Cole Lennox are in for a rude awakening when they get an urgent message from their former lover, Jessa Wade. It's a steamy, suspenseful story that crosses paths with human traffickers, traitors, and long-time friends. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I really like that we got little updates here and there about Hannah and her men from Book 1. You do not need to read or listen to book 1 to keep up, if you felt it necessary to skip that one. I don't know why you would skip any of them but I won't judge. 😉
I listened to the audiobook from my local library. While there were some editing issues (most notably at the end of several chapters), I enjoyed it. I hate that I can't binge on the series because the same narrator, Serena Daniels, is used for several / all of the books and I like - really, it's a need - to have a "palette cleanse" of sorts so that I don't picture the characters from the prior book throughout. It gets really confusing when that happens. No worries. I will survive.
This book combines quite many things I hate in erotica: first brothers needing to share someone, who have friends who ALL share the same "lifestyle", of course they are strongly dominent in the bedroom. And the heroine has very strong urges but has never worked with them and her first experience will be with those 2 guys. Add to that a bad guy that want to revenge - on them, but she's a nice tool to achieve that. There's a mole somewhere in their environment. And of course as soon as one of them realized who is the mole who had managed to put a tracker to them, the bad guy is just at the door to get the girl. But they had been lougning in the same room for hours before and the bad guy could not come before that. The hot scene was not even great. A complete let-down.
#No. No, no estoy bromeando.
Asegurarse.
A tu amo.

There's nothing wrong with Their Virgin's Secret. It's a well-written book and balances the suspense part of plot with the romance part of the plot fairly well. The sexy/romantic scenes are well-written. Still, this book leaves me going "meh." The relationship between our three MCs doesn't seem to gel well for me, and Jessa goes from hating the guys (for lying about their names, professions, and disappearing on her) to settling down with them really quickly. It's not bad, it's just not as good as it could have been.
Overall: When you find the right person, you'll stop at nothing to make sure they are taken care of and safe. When you first start reading the book, your introduced to Cole and Burke standing outside of Jessa's house , unsure if they should just walk right up & knock or just leave. After they hear her screaming the run inside the house to the basement, to find a man attacking the woman they love. They bad guy tells them that Marco ( the son of the man they killed ) is after them and there is nothing they can do about it. Jessa freaks and runs upstairs with Burke hot on her heels and Cole dealing with the "husband" Angus. Once they are out of the house , the men are in for a major surprises that turns their world UPSIDE DOWN AND INSIDE OUT. Than they get a call from Marco ( the mastermind bad guy) & he tells them that the games have just begun and he can't wait for them to loose what he has lost, but only ten times worse. Cole and Burke jump into to action and Jessa is still very hurt and lashes out because she thinks the men left her after a four weekend of passion and lovemaking.
The Story hoes back and forth from present day to a year in the past when Burke, Jessa & Cole first met. That was something i enjoyed, but found it over detailed at some points. I wish the author would've spent more time with the threesome talking to each other or shit just making more love. Not flashing back to situations that i felt weren't needed. Also I understand that Jessa was upset with them for leaving, but once they finally explain why they did what they did, i wish she would've cut them some slack instead of pushing for "angry" sex. Another problem for me was the action at the end of the book with Marco. Ok, how it all started was really good, but than once they reach the airstrip, i was just hoping that they could've dragged out beating Marco up and maybe let Jessa get in a few groin shots. My last and final MAJOR problem was, there was no epilogue, what they hell happened afterwards?? I know that we will hear about them in future books, but i would've love to have read about them a year later after everything to see how they settled. Overall I loved this book & I really love the series! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
If you read the first book, you will see Cole and Burke Lennox; the twins who is friends with James gang who own Black Oak. James gang hire them to work with Hannah's case... and now this is their story... This is my second re-read. At first, it was Oh yeahhhh... and after my re-read it just like... Uh huh... Why? Let me tell you..
Likes: 1. I guaranteed the sex is beyond HOT. Not your kind casual sex, of course. With toys and a lot moaning. LOL 2. The storyline is kind of different. There is past (when their first meet) and present.
Dislikes: 1. Start with the heroine, Jessa Wade. She was a young, creative and romantic girl. Her parents shut her off because Jessa choose to be an artist so she run to her aunt and work at her place. It was love at first sight when she meet Lennox twins. The feeling is mutual, they have sex... and prepare her for threesome BOOM! She's pregnant and they left because their 'business'. Kinda idiot because she insist them not to use condom!!!! Stupid!!! She was a virgin without any knowledge about sex and protection -_- 2. I pissed with Cole and Burke because they're trust the PI who investigate about Jessa after they left her because of their 'business'. When they got report about Jessa married with someone else, they don't fight but at least search for her? Nope. They choose to trust the PI. When the trouble come, they just show up and expect Jessa to welcome and forgive them? 3. How can Cole use BDSM to get Jessa back without her trust? Unbelievable. And Jessa topping from the bottom. Throwing tantrum about her being mad so she can get the sex. WUT?? That's not BDSM #facepalm 4. Dissapointing ending. It was like... whosshhh... Done? Well, the villain is 'too lazy' too act beside only abduction. Not (really) suspense at all.
Anyway, this is pure what's in my thought when read it.
My Rating: 2.5 from 5 (Oh no...) HEAT meter: ★★☆☆☆ (the past story was more fun to read) SEXOMETER: ★★★☆☆ (because of the creativity from sex toys)
I listened to the audio version of the book. The narration was pretty good. The story....meh.
One thing that bothered me was the description that read, "On the run and out of time, Burke and Cole will fight for their future with Jessa. But, will Jessa's secret bring them together...or read them apart?"
Based on the description , it sounds like Jessa's secret came out "while" they were on the run. Ummm...slightly misleading. That is, of course, if Jessa's secret is what it appeared to be.
Next, I'm not a big fan of alternating between past and present throughout a story. I don't mind having to refer to the past, but I prefer that it be done all at once and then move into the present. Or, that it has to be done to reference a specific issue, like the Marco situation. But, the constant back and forth was irritating.
Cole, Burke, and Jessa's situation, I could see both POV's. If Cole and Burke could go on the run with burner phones, they could have used one to call Jessa. At minimum, they could have informed her to contact Gavin, if she needed anything. Their job responsibilities have them doing more in-depth research than they did for someone they supposedly loved.
I understand Jessa being angry. I understand irl that often anger doesn't dissipate as quickly as it does in a novel, but in my romance novels, after the explanation was given to Jessa, I though her anger would gradually dissipate. They were wrong for not making arrangements for her, but for her to retain that anger after finding out what they had been doing was also irritating. Also, they DID give her a way to get in touch with them. No one expected the series of circumstances that made it impossible for her to reach them.
I didn't feel the chemistry between them. I think it was lost for me while moving between past and present. It took me out of the moment when the attraction was developing.
Every woman's fantasy come true. Jessa meets a pair of to-die-for hot twins while having to work at the family hotel in Manhattan for Christmas. The perk about her family being gone is that she gets to have as much fun as she can.
But this actually happened a year ago. The book jumps back and forth between present day and a year ago. The present day situation is not as desirable. See Cole and Burke are basically mercenaries and the son of the bad guy they were after a year ago when they met Jessa found out how the feel about her and wants to kill her.
When the boys came back to protect her they found out she had a baby, their son! And of course she wants nothing to do with them because they left and never came back. Jessa got a bit annoying to me after they explained the truth and why they had to leave and then why they stayed away. She just kept saying "you're liars" but was that really lying? And if they're here now, why are you still complaining instead of giving them another chance?
Good thing for the flashbacks we kept having to their year ago affair. And Cole was amazing! I was bit better prepared for this book in comparison to the first one. The stories are a bit far fetched and obviously there's a permanent menage situation with brothers again, which has to be tricky! But I did enjoy this book more than the first one.
**** Contain's Spoilers*** I really love how the author defines each character. Cole, the bad boy, the one that is called heartless, but his heart is really opened and ready to be fixed by the one woman he loves. Burke, the good boy, the happy flirty one that wants to settle down with his one love. Jessa called them two halves of a whole and you can most definitively see it as you read this book. I loved Jessa. She was fragile, at least you thought so at first. But she showed her back bone. She stood up to Cole and Burke and as she was accused of more than once, topping them from the bottom. The brothers were what most good girls dream of, and what they won't admit too. A Menage with two sex gods. But they do not just want the sex, they want their cake and be able to eat it too. They want Jenna, their son, marriage and to be a family. One of the only reasons I wanted to smack Burke upside was when they find out what Burke's secretary has been up to. I saw that one coming. I guess you can call it woman's intuition. This book was hot, it demanded that you not put it down until you read the last word. I can not wait to read the next book in the series. After being introduced to Rafe and Kade al Mussad in this book, I know their's will be as hot, or possibly even hotter then the last two books in this series.
Man! This has been on the TBR since 2012. WOW. Let's see if I can force myself to read it. Book 1 was...not fun.
Update: This book is a total steaming pile.
Yet again we have the virgin who jumps feet first (or is that pussy first?) into a menage relationship with brothers. *gag* Also unbelievable. The whole plot also...just full of shit.
The plot of this book is...the refrigerated girlfriend. The heroes arrest a mobster type guy who gets killed in prison. The mobster's son decides he will kidnap and prostitute the heroine. Who the heroes haven't even seen in a fucking year plus. And they only fucked her the one night - that she gets preggers. Seriously. The mobster's son announces how he will rape the heroine and then pimp her out to the most horrible people he can find to torture her terribly... So that the HEROES will suffer. Because, of course, the heroine can be nothing but motivation: for revenge, for sex, for baby making. Because she has holes - but she damn sure had no personality. There was NOTHING in this book that was about the heroine. She was motivation and nothing more.
