As an executive, career & lifestyle coach, author & speaker, I'm on a mission to "move ordinary people to achieve extraordinary things - to push the limits, break the shackles and blow open opportunities that create outstanding success."

Several years ago, whilst working as a change management consultant and coach, I noticed how many people seem to really struggle with change and are at a loss as to how to use it to make life better. To be honest, I was in the same boat! The harder I worked, the tougher life got and I felt powerless to change it.

Now I've finally cracked the code to making life's changes simple. A self professed 'change-junkie', I've experienced 4 lifestyle and 6 career changes, across many different industries. I've opted into and out of the corporate rat race in an exciting career spanning front-line to executive roles. As the owner of Possibility to Reality (www.p2r.com.au) I take the struggle out of change and love helping people jump into the driver's seat of their lives.

From each of my life redesign experiences, I've learnt many lessons, often the hard way! Always on the lookout for simple ways to make change easy, when I learn something new I store it away to share with others often thinking, "If only I'd known that when I was ... [insert life challenge] it wouldn't have been nearly so hard."

In a nutshell... I love discovering and sharing new ways to make life's changes easier.

I won this book through the first-reads program and was rather surprised when it came all the way from Australia. Then again, those who live in the land of flame and poison where everything can kill you probably know a fair bit about living their lives to the fullest. I'm still trying to imagine looking out the window to see a bunch of kangaroo grazing. Must be quite the sight.

Although I read a fair number of self-help books, I'd yet to encounter any one quite like this. This book takes a very realistic, very pragmatic view about how to enact change in your life. You aren't happy? Then change things. You're afraid of the financial side of it - well here, we'll help you figure it out. The book fully acknowledges that some of the changes may take years to put into place, but it's there for you every step of the way.

The formatting of the book is easy and accessible. If going back to the book for further advice, all I'd need to do is decide which chapter and subsection, easy enough, and if a section references something from another chapter, it says so. Very helpful.

In addition to all this the book had a lovely bibliography in the back, stuck right behind the author's offer to hear from those who read her book. Feel like a change? Caroline Cameron is there for you. Just accomplished a change? Caroline Cameron still wants to hear from you. Who knows, maybe you'll be referenced in her next book, or on her lovely website. I have to say, I'd like to redesign a bit of my life right now, and this certainly has given me both the incentive and tools to do such.

Think of your life as rooms to your house. Sometimes cleaning has to be done to some rooms more than others. Begin one room at a time

I won this book through a goodreads giveaway.

Caroline Cameron does a great job at explaining how to simplify life in the 21st century. While I am on the younger end of the spectrum from just finishing college and currently trying to find a job in the field in which I studied, the lessons are still relevant. Foresight is a good thing and if I can possibly prevent some of the scenarios Cameron describes or catch them before it becomes difficult to change, all the better. The rat race is more universal than we may believe and hopefully some of those caught in it can read this book and find a way to get out.

Good reads win: This book was very interesting. I loved how the author shows us how to simplify our lifes in the world we live in today. When i read the summary for what the book was about I had to laugh in a good way, because the questions asked were so me. I always have too much to do and so little time. I feel this book was very helpful and I have learned from it. I will definitely recommend this to friends.
