I read this in two sittings on my day off.
I was a fan of dredd as a boy, and it's interesting to return to it now I'm pretty much middle aged.
Judge Dredd is set in the near future of a ultra far right society where democracy itself is a crime and the rule of the law is carried out by police officers who have the power to pass sentence as they arrest. All going well until dimension jumping dark judges invade and the judges find out for themselves what it's like.
Tremendous fun

Solid Dredd Epic, extended nicely at the beginning with The Dead Man and Tale of the Dead Man

I think this is one of Judge Dredd's best stories when it comes to wanting to know how Mega City One works, as well as learning what Judge Deathhhhhh is.
