Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, and Owl can't remember what to bring to the First-Day-of-Spring Party. Could it be that no one was listening to Rabbit's instructions? But in the end not even the rain can dampen everyone's fun.
The Pooh friends want to have a party for the first day of spring, but when rabbit reads out a list of things for each one to bring, well, um, "Oh, bother! No one's listening!" And how many tablecloths might they end up with if everyone thinks, "That's what I'm supposed to bring," as they rush to the party?
Very funny, with a wonderful supporting part for Eeyore.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list... )
This is a cute little Winnie the Pooh book in which Winnie and his friends decide to have a "First-Day-of-Spring" party. But when Rabbit takes on the task of coordinating the party, his companions are too invested in cavorting to listen to his plans for each to bring items and to invite their friend Christopher Robin. As a result, they all end up bringing the same item, and no one lets Christopher know he's invited. With regrets for not listening the first time, they each listen to their assignments on the second go 'round and a good time is had by all. This children's book teaches the value of listening to others, and has plenty of colorful illustrations featuring the familiar Winnie the Pooh gang to keep a child entertained.
The friends at the Hundred Acre Wood decide to have a First Day of Spring party. Rabbit makes a list and assigns different tasks to everyone. Everyone was preoccupied and could not remember what they were to bring. Everyone brings a tablecloth. They then went back over the list and ended up having a fun party.
