Note: Each book in Lynn Hagen's Brac Pack collection focuses on a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, we recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
12. Que hermosa pareja son Dagon y Taylor 😭💜

This was book 19 in the "Brac Pack" Dagon Santiago went crazy when he smelled his mate on his brother Law's mate it had law thinking that he was going to have to share Josh but it turns out that Josh's little brother Taylor is his mate. Taylor doesn't know what to think he isn't gay but can't understand why he is reacting to Dagon. Taylor who is also 17 doesn't know why his mother is acting the way she is. She hates that Josh is gay and thinks that he will turn Taylor gay or that its all in his mind. Turns out mommy dearest is a demon and Taylor is half demon. In this book we meet Demon warriors that the author turned in to a series. After waiting 5 weeks until Taylor turns 18 he and Dagon mate but Taylor is having a hard time because he learned that he is part demon and gay and his mother wants to kill him and he finds out that Josh is a vampire we also find out that the woman is not Josh's mother or their older brother Brad's. The mates come to the recue they help Taylor accept who he is along with the warriors they go to a drag show without telling their mates where they are. Maverick also decides that it is time to build up the town and when Taylor meets an abused man in a restaurant he wants to help abused people so they build a shelter the Santiago brothers also open up a bike shop. Maverick will also build houses for some of the mates and warriors with families like Heaven and Murdock and Gabby and Montana where are going to have another baby. This was a really good book I love reading this series. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
How does an author revise the timeline in her books??? Between the end of the last book and the first few pages of this book the author inserted almost 4 1/2 weeks of time passing. Continuity? Timeline? Fuck it!
At the end of the last book, josh and Taylor get kidnapped with melonee, get home and get the call from their mom to get Taylor home. Shortly thereafter, a day or so, they get the call that Taylor's run away. In this book, Taylor goes to his mom's, almost 4 1/2 weeks pass and THEN he runs away.

Review of Brac Pack 19: Dagon's Ride
"Brac Pack 19: Dagon's Ride" by Lynn Hagen is definitely one of my favorites in this series so far. This M/M Omegaverse, insta-love story is a mesmerizing blend of romance, self-discovery, and thrilling supernatural elements that kept me hooked from start to finish.
Taylor's journey is deeply moving. Raised by a mother who viciously bashes gay people, his struggle with his attraction to Dagon is poignant and relatable. Taylor's internal conflict and shame are portrayed with sensitivity, making his character incredibly compelling. Dagon's unwavering support and patience in the face of Taylor's doubts and insecurities are heartwarming. His efforts to convince Taylor that love knows no boundaries are a beautiful testament to the power of acceptance and understanding.
The M/M romance between Dagon and Taylor is truly captivating. Their insta-love connection is intense and immediate, drawing readers into their world. Dagon's hope that Taylor's older brother, Joshua—who is mated to Dagon's brother Law—would be enough to convince Taylor to embrace his feelings, adds depth to the story and highlights the complexities of familial relationships within the Omegaverse.
One of the most exciting aspects of this book is the introduction of demons to the storyline. Yes, you read that correctly—DEMONS 👿😈‼️HAVE ENTERED THE STORYLINE!!! This addition adds a thrilling and unpredictable element to the plot, elevating the stakes and creating a sense of urgency and danger that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. DEMONS 😈😈‼️HAVE ENTERED THE STORYLINE!!! The inclusion of these supernatural beings enhances the rich, fantastical backdrop of the Brac Pack universe, making the narrative even more engaging. DEMONS 👿😈‼️HAVE ENTERED THE STORYLINE!!!
The paranormal elements are masterfully woven into the story, with vampires, werewolves, elves, and fey all playing significant roles. These elements not only enrich the world-building but also add layers of complexity to the characters' interactions and the challenges they face.
Taylor’s inner demon, both metaphorically and literally, is a fascinating twist that adds depth to his character and the overall plot. The mates' adventure to help Taylor confront his inner demon is thrilling and filled with unexpected twists, making it one of the most unbelievable adventures yet in the series.
The Santiago brothers, now all with their mates, truly feel like a part of the Brac Pack, creating a sense of unity and family that is heartwarming. The bond between the brothers and their mates is beautifully portrayed, adding an extra layer of emotional resonance to the story.
In conclusion, "Brac Pack 19: Dagon's Ride" is an outstanding addition to the Brac Pack collection. It’s a heartfelt, thrilling M/M Omegaverse, insta-love story that masterfully combines romance, self-discovery, and supernatural adventure. Lynn Hagen has once again delivered a narrative that is both emotionally rich and wildly entertaining, making this book a must-read for fans of the genre.

As hoped for, this was the story of Taylor (who turns out to bring a surprise or two with him) and Dagon, which started in the last volume.
Taylor was a bit of an enigma, even to himself. This lack of self-knowledge, however, is quite 'normal' for a eighteen-year old, so it didn't surprise me. It helped make Taylor more believable, in many ways. What I had more of a hard time dealing with was Dagon's back and forth - he should have been just a little more understanding, being over two hundred years old and all that.. However, in the end they, like all couples, had their issues to solve. A few more enemies came out of the woodworks as well, which made for an interesting read.

Dagon is my favorite Santiago brothers, his patience when guiding Taylor to his new life, erase his insecurites and help him when struggling with his sexual orientation are sweet. Not only that but also this book is full of suprises especially when Panahasi make a first appearance with his demon warriors.
El que esperen a que sean mayor de edad es honestamente poco real pero... dan un buen ejemplo asique 🤷♀️ y la adición de mas personajes siempre me da risa... no se rian es un problema😥
Alrighty. I managed to read book 18 and 19 in a row. Which is kinda good since 17 to 19 are about three brothers and all. It also sets up a change of premise (really outsourcing for protagonists now) and sets up the next volume, albeit not terribly near to the den.
This one was all right. I wish I could say more about it, but aside from the horrible murder committed once again towards any kind of chronological continuity, it’s nothing that stands out that much. Well, evil bitch from hell, maybe. Meh.
So! On to new old shores. At least two series I’ve been reading before have new volumes out. :P If that does not ease me out of series land, I don’t know what would. And yes, that made perfect sense.
2012 Re-read Project:
I went and did it. I re-read all the connected series by Lynn Hagen, this time in order of publication date, as recommended, which sadly does not ensure actual chronologicality. That’s twenty-nine books of moderate length, spanning three series (with more to spin off).
I’ll put my thoughts in spoiler tags since I plan to paste this into the end of each review covered here. There are no actual spoilers, so feel free to read this for a general idea of the series.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire
It took me forever to read this today. I was just not getting into the story of Dagan and Taylor.
There are some timeline issues at the very beginning. At the end of Joshua's Law there was six weeks until Taylor's birthday but here he only had to hold out two days.
You get some snap shots of the other mates and how happy they were, a paragraph here and there before switching heads back to the main couple. There was hardly any humor. The "mate escape" was a repeat from another book and honestly I was just bored. The introduction of Steven kept my attention for the whole ten pages it encompassed but that was it.
I know this series is winding down with one more book left but I honestly thought that we would start tying up the loose ends and not add another paranormal into the mix.

This book covered several months of time. First the time waiting for Taylor to come of age. After his birthday he and Dagon get together very quickly. Taylor wanted to mate with Dagon but afterwards had a hard time accepting everything. It's very hot and cold for a bit. Dragon for his part didn't seem as patient with his young mate as he should have been. His brothers out him in his place which is funny. After they work through that they do well together. Then we cover several months while the shelter is built. Taylor deciding to open the shelter is fantastic. I like that he's grown up and wants to do something to help the town.
I enjoy the snap shots of other couples. It's nice getting to see them after years of being with their mates. The short scenes show that they are still in love and happy.
It will be interesting to see how this series continues with the pack opening businesses in Brac Village.
A homophobic demeaning hyper critical mother tries to pit her sons against one another. But she only ends up alienating them against her. A young man nearing his 18th birthday - the year of majority, but is not of instant knowledge and maternity. He'd been indoctrinated into a belief that being gay was an abomination - acting on any feelings of attraction was beyond wrong. Even though he supported his rather flamboyant brother he never saw himself in that role until he meets his mate.
Suddenly he has to confront all the lies told to him in order to accept his mate or lose him. He was so confused. Then we are introduced to Panahasi and his Demon Warriors from the Demon Realm. Plus all the motorcycle riding!
Taylor has spent his whole life listening to his mother viciously bash gay people, and his attraction to Dagon has him confused and ashamed.
Dagon is supportive in the wake of his mate’s doubts and insecurities, and he tries hard to convince Taylor that love knows no boundaries. Dagon had hoped Taylor’s older brother, Joshua, who’s mated Dagon’s brother Law, would be enough to convince Taylor to accept who he is, but Taylor still refuses to fully acknowledge his love for Dagon, and Dagon soon grows weary.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s inner demon may be more tangible than anyone could have imagined, and the mates, risking their lives to help Taylor, take off on their most unbelievable adventure yet.
typical lynn hagen serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical lynn hagen? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by : lynn hagen stormy glenn scarlett hyacinth carol lynne gabrielle evans
unless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win.
3rd Reading 1-4-15 I went into this with fresh eyes. I didn't think about nosy Taylor. I thought about 17 year old Taylor hating his home life. Then I thought about 18 year old Taylor and being scared of mating.
2nd read June 2014 Not a fan of Taylor, but not sure why? Maybe because he's too nosy in future books and it made me not like him as much?
First read 11-7-13 Poor Taylor :( Being 18 is hard, especially with a parent like he has drilling in his head that being gay is wrong. I understood his hesitations.
I loved how this book ended. I look forward to more. Dagon's understanding of his mate, Taylor, and the love he has for him from the beginning warmed my heart. He had looked about and beyond what Taylor's background was and loved him anyway. That is what real love is. Lynn Hagen knows how to pull her readers into a story and keep them there.
This was the first of Lynn Hagen's books I have read but it sure won't be the last! A great series with terific charachters and amazing scenes. Everything flows well. I just wish the darn thing was twice as long!!
This one spread itself a little thin. We are updated on a lot of things and introduced to people. I would have enjoyed more of just the couple but it was still a fun read:)
