This book introduces the animal earthworms.

This book, illustrated with full color photographs, gives a basic introduction to earthworms. It describes their physical characteristics, where they live, and what they eat. It also touches upon their predators. There are fun facts, an earthworm diagram, glossary, and further reading included at the back of the book.

After reading Worm Loves Worm, my children had a lot of questions about worms, so we read this book.

This is an excellent, informative book for children all about an earthworm. Facts include the parts of an earthworm's body, how and what it eats, how it moves, and how it lays eggs. Did you know that earthworms live all over the world except for Antarctica?

My very curious, five-year-old grandchild enjoyed it.

Good book to read with any child who has a fascination with worms or the outdoors. The pictures are wonderful. The language is simple but at the same time will give the child the information that they need to learn about the worms. Who would not want to go looking for worms after reading this book?
