December 9, 2025Daisy likes nature. Her favorite color is purple. She loves: the beach and flowers. She likes to play and she likes crabs and rabbits.
Daisy is my favorite character because she is cute and she saves animals. She was happy.
She talked to the animals, she loved the animals, the animals loved her and she loved
nature and that the animals wanted her.
What surprised me the most is that she didn't go to the camp, she went to the seaside.
I would change the ending because I wanted her to become a princess and be a fairy.

So adorable! I love Daisy's personality and that she can talk to all the animals. Even all the different critters had great personalities. I will see if I can get the rest of her books from the library!

A read aloud with my girls. They love the Daisy Dawson series. A little girl with a big imagination that can speak to all the animals. Very sweet read and an innovative main character. One more book to read in the series! We will be sad to finish.

Lovely story
My little one and I enjoyed the story very much. It was very sweet. We both love animals almost as much as Daisy

A cute story about a girl who talks to the animals and has fun on the beach. She helps squirrels surf, rescues a dolphin and much more. A great story.

Daisy Dawson is back again for another adventure with her animal friends. This time, school is over and summer vacation is in full swing and her family is going camping at the beach. Daisy meets some new animal friends; two rabbit siblings who want to surf, a singing crab, and a dolphin caught in a net.
This early chapter book will be a fun read for readers who are now ready for chapter books. The story starts straight away with the assumption that the reader already knows Daisy from her previous adventures, but kids new to the series will quickly catch on that Daisy has a special relationship with animals. The black and white illustrations add to the fun of the story, giving the animal characters even more personality.
I would recommend this book for purchase for any school or public library. Daisy is caring, polite and very charming. Her story will appeal to children looking for animal stories.

Daisy Dawson is a modern day, much younger Dr. Doolittle. She can talk with and to animals and has everyday adventures around with them. It's a "quiet", sweet series that exemplifies the goodness of childhood. The illustrations are just right, too.

I love the ending chapter. The squirrels with the nutty snow and Daisy creating a rainbow. This is a great book series for young elementary students. I could see it as a great read-aloud for 1st grade -especially if the teacher/parent/librarian can do animal voices well.
