When I saw this one I just had to read it! And wow, what a trip down memory lane! I recall reading these in the newspaper many years ago and seeing the familiar family was such a pleasure. The kids say the craziest things in here and do the craziest things too but that is the fun of this little comic. And even more special is that this book actually introduces the family's second dog! I don't think I ever saw that story before, how they got the second dog, Sam. And while the drawings are very simple somehow the expressions and moods come through so clearly!
