The icy werewolf is the only one who can help me.
But my fated mate? Not a chance.

I’m a witch with a business to run. The last thing I need is Orson, head of security for the Howling Death pack, arrogantly striding into my bar like he owns the place.

This werewolf gets me hot and bothered, but not like that. It doesn’t matter how low his growl is, or how arresting his eyes are. He’s a prick and I just deal with him because his pack is in charge.

But when a dragon shifter corners me into making a dangerous potion, the prickly wolf might be the only one who can help me save our small community.

When the plan blows up in our faces, all hell breaks loose. I thought Orson’s wolf was protective of me before, but now he’s running headfirst into a fight with a fire-breathing monster.

It’s pure insanity. No wolf would risk his life like that…

…unless it was for his fated mate.

This book features growly werewolves, motorcycle club vibes, fated mates, and an enemies-to-lovers storyline. Each book in Howling Death MC is a standalone with a guaranteed HEA!

4 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Read

I have an exciting book review to share with you today. Enemy Wolf by Sophie Ash is an adult paranormal romance and the second book in the Howling Death MC series. Please note I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair review.

I really enjoyed this book! Enemy Wolf is a fresh and entertaining new take on the paranormal. We have all kinds of creatures including werewolves, dragons, and vampires. The wolves of this world belong to a motorcycle club and they police the territory of Ve.

The two main characters Orson and Shiloh are likable and relatable. They also have full arcs and growth as the story progresses. Although I definitely love Orson more. He is so socially awkward I just wanted to give him and his wolf hugs and cuddles. Shiloh gave me all the witchy vibes I needed but she could have been a bit more empathetic towards Orson.

The world building in Enemy Wolf is detailed and unique. I love the premise of a magical land. So it feels familiar but also new. Even though this is the second book in a series but you could jump right in and not get lost. If you are a fan of darker themes, action, fated mates, miscommunication, and page turning suspense then go read this book! I give Enemy Wolf 4 out of 5 gems. I cannot wait to read to more stories in this series! Happy Reading!

An AMAZING Paranormal Romance!

I’m really loving this paranormal romance, with fated mates, touch her and die, gradual acceptance of their mate bond, etc. it is really, really good!! It’s very character driven and lots of paranormal creatures, and suspense that keeps you flipping the pages!! I look forward to book three!! Highly recommended!

This series is a fun light romantic read. I’m enjoying the world and would pick up the next. I really liked Shiloh and Orson as characters but that said for some reason I didn’t feel their chemistry as much. Idk why. Still a fun read and thank you to the ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

*** Book Q & A***

* How did the book make you feel?: I was fortunate enough to receive the ARC from the author herself and I read this book very quickly. I enjoy PNR and this was a sweet, low-angst take.

* How do you feel about how the story was told?: I thought the plot was well-paced. I liked the setting of a world separate from humans. I liked the variation of shifter types. The book was well-edited with very few typos.

* What did you think about the main characters?: I really felt for poor Orson. He had such a low self-esteem and I really felt that Shiloh was overly-hard on him. I would’ve loved it if he had shut down a bit and made her do some groveling because she was so quick to misjudge and reject him! I love angst and needed more!

* Which parts of the book stood out to you?: I was a fan of the full moon heat setup!

* What themes/tropes did you detect in the story?: MC, shifter romance, enemies to lovers (light), rejected mate (light and done by FMC)

* What did you think about the ending?: I would’ve loved more grovel, but the epilogue was sweet.

* What is your impression of the author?: This was my first read by this author, and I really like her voice. I might read Riley and Sawyer’s story since I skipped it. I hope this author will publish some more angst-filled rejected mate books in the future because she is very talented!

Possible Triggers and Safety: domestic and child abuse (off-page), no cheating, short separation, h and H briefly, pushing away, HEA

Another good read from this author. The main couple are people we met in the first book in the series Shiloh and Orson. There's just a few slight niggles that stopped me giving this book five stars. First I Orson he was reared in the wilderness by his mother a feral wolf and only joined the Howling Death pack ten years ago, yet he is a tech genius responsible for all the pack s communication and financial needs. Then there's the inclusion of the motorcycle club, I'm sorry but I don't see wht this adds to the story it seems more of a strategic decision made in order to appeal to a wider demographic. I see not much difference between werewolves as a pack than as a motorcycle club. Just my opinion. I did enjoy the story, Orson is an interesting character as are some of the other pack members, he has a rather tragic backstory as does Shiloh and its.nice.to.see.two wounded souls find each other. There are a few pack members who may get stories especially Tryn... Whose story may be next i think. I will read more in this series and I can't wait for the author to do Derric the Alpha's story..........

I think I’ve become a real sucker for good blurbs, and this blurb drew me in. I love a well-crafted story, and even not-so-well-crafted stories, and this one didn’t disappoint. I will admit, though, that this one was more romance than anything else, and that isn’t a favorite of mine. No matter, I still enjoyed the story line quite a bit. Orson actually was my favorite character, and I feel that sometimes Shiloh didn’t have enough sympathy for him. All in all, this was a heart-warming romance with a tiny dash of suspense thrown in. Sure to please any fan of paranormal romance. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

This is the second book in the Howling Death MC series and the second book I’ve read by Sophie Ash. I enjoyed this book more than the first. Orson is just so awkward when it comes to his people skills, but you can’t help but love him. Shiloh is a strong willed witch with a few hang ups from past relationships which can make her seem a little cold at time. I am really liking the world that the story has been created in. It’s something a little bit different to the norm. Will definitely be reading the next book.

"You don't have to fight all your battles alone. My teeth and claws are yours, Shiloh. Whoever is scaring you, hurting you, let me be your weapon to annihilate them."

5 stars!

Ever since I discovered Sophie's books earlier this year, I've been patiently waiting for more novels from her as I just love her writing so much. Sophie is a master at weaving stories filled with swoony romance, fierce yet vulnerable characters, and twists that will leave your mind spinning and your heart racing. This book kept me hooked the entire way through, and I just loved watching as a loner wolf and jaded witch meet their match.

The love story between Orson and Shiloh starts off with plenty of obstacles and animosity between them as Orson completely butchers their first meeting. Orson is confused by the feelings of possessive protectiveness towards the witch sent by his wolf, and although Shiloh wants nothing to do with the surly outsider, neither can deny the pull they feel towards each other despite the secrets both wish to hide. I absolutely LOVED Orson; even though he is far from perfect, he is deeply devoted to his mate and only wishes for her safety. Both Shiloh and Orson have been burned in the past, but I loved watching as they slowly discover how cathartic a mate's embrace can be as they learn to trust each other. I did not see the twists in this book coming, and I loved the added drama, angst, and conflict! Sophie has quickly become an auto-read author for me, and I cannot wait to continue this series🖤

Tropes: fated mates, hate-to-love-you, loner wolf, heroine-in-danger, grumpy/sunshine, 'touch her and die' vibes, mating frenzy, witch/shifter romance, 'who did this to you' vibes, MC romance, alpha jp hero, found family, slow burn, STEAMY🔥

Sophie Ash is a new author to me and I am very happy to have found her, or maybe she found me but either way, I really enjoyed her newest shifter MC romance Enemy Wolf.

I do love a good shifter romance and find they don't always live up to my expectations but I was very pleased with Sophie's MC wolf shifter romance.

The characters had plenty of depth and were really quite relatable and fun. Orson the once lone/rogue shifter finds a place with the Howling Death MC club. His past has left him very socially awkward with very limited skills in understanding the human side of himself or those around him. Deep down he's really quite sweet though, very protective, and has all those great alpha tendencies.

Shiloh is a tough little witch living in the wolf world. She's not the only witch or even human there, but she's spent time with the Howling Death before, and as the owner of a very popular bar on the edge of their territory, Vargmore and the club frequent her establishment a lot. The Howling Death alpha views all that live in his territory under his protection too.

It's not a love at first sight with the two. In fact, their first few interactions don't really go well at all, but every time they meet again it chips away pieces. They don't know what the big pull is at first and they aren't sure what to do with the mate bond when they do find it.

Between Orson's inability to communicate or act appropriately at times and Shiloh's weariness at falling for a wolf again not to mention her concerns over secrets, they don't get a smooth run to HEA. Orson trying to be what he thinks Shiloh deserves was really sweet and seeing Shiloh let him in was the heart of the story.

Both are a bit stubborn and pig-headed so they butt heads and it ends in some great moments in the book.

Overall, really enjoyed this book and I plan to get back to book one and read that as soon as I can.

Shiloh isn't expecting anyone to be in her closed bar least of all a wolf from the Howling Death MC club and when the big guy doesn't even apologize for coming into her closed bar she ends up mad at him and kicks him out.

Orson doesn't know what to make of the little witch who just chased him away. He doesn't leave the club much but the president sent him on a job and he was just doing as he was told but all she did was yell at him to leave.

When Shiloh's bar is once again intruded on she expects the wolf again but instead it's a dragon and he wants something from her and he'll punish all of Vargmore if she doesn't come through. Too frightened to go against his wishes she tries to find a way to do what he wants.

Orson can't stop thinking about Shiloh and his wolf is pushing him to protect her. He decides he'll do the job the alpha gave him but so she doesn't know about it, hoping that will satisfy his wolf but when they sense her fear and tears their protective side amps up.
'His instinct to protect her was becoming my own. His desire to lay waste to anyone that would harm her made me want to beat a man to death with my fare fists. And when he called her our witch, I had the strangest urge to call her my witch.'

The pressure on Shiloh is becoming more than she can handle and the dragon's threats are not helping her cope. Orson seems to be around suddenly too and she's not sure what to make of the awkward wolf but she finds she doesn't mind having him around.

As Orson sets out to help Shiloh however he can he realizes who she is to him and he's not sure what to do about it. Shiloh finds that with Orson's help, she sees a different side of him and she likes it.

When the dragon shows up again though it will be more than they are prepared for. The club will be behind them both to help but it might not be enough to save their fragile relationship.

"Leave it to fate to bring a wild witch and a feral wolf together like this."

Happy Reading.

A new to me author is always fun because it's rare I step out of my little comfort bubble.

This can be read as a standalone but obviously it's book two in a series. Aside from the fact I'm anal about reading in chronological order, there are other characters in this book that played a part in Shiloh getting to this point in life and I feel like that background is important, at least for me so that i can understand her and the choices that were made for the other characters.

Shiloh is independent, sweet and unafraid to stand for herself. I really loved that she wasn't the kind of character that judged based of her emotions in a situation that obviously was out of their control. She was easy to like because she was fair.

Orson was very unexpected. He wasn't the growly alpha I expected. He wasn't social, he had no clue how to read the room or act appropriately around people. Especially strangers. I loved him for this though. He was quirky, very introverted and super cute. He was the first to say sorry or try to fix what he thought he'd broken. Honestly he was just a sweet all rounder.

There was a lot of back and forth between them at first because Shiloh had a bad taste in her mouth from Orson barging in and he just didn't know where he stood with her and her attitude toward him or why he felt all the feelings for this perfect stranger. It was a hot mess of frustration but that soon moved on to some good old slow burn tension and eventually them getting their heads out of their arse long enough to realise what they meant to each other.

This was a solid read for me. I loved the unique twist on shifters and the many different paranormal elements that were woven through the story. Shiloh and Orson had a great deal of character development along side the world building and the plot progression and I feel like it was done very well in a way that nothing felt missed or out of place. I also really enjoyed the side characters, I feel like they slid in perfectly only adding to the story.

This was a first for me from this author but it will not be the last. I need to go back and read book one because honestly it's driving me insane that it was read out of order and my ocd ass cannot cope.

While this is the second book in the Howling Death MC series, it is the first that I have read, and it is the first I have by this author, though I have read under her other pseudonym.

It is supposed to be able to stand alone and I think it did so rather well though I'm sure it would have been enjoyed better with the context of the first book. There is a rich cast of characters, who were all developed well enough that they didn't simply blend into the background. I'm not sure how much world building was done in the first installment but I found it rather lacking in this one. Ultimately I guess it doesn't really matter, but if you are going to set stories somewhere other than Earth as it is (or would be if supernatural creatures abounded) then it would be nice to explain how things work to the reader.

I loved Orson, he was incredibly awkward and came across as arrogant and rude at times because he had been a member of a feral werewolf pack prior to joining Howling Death as pack treasurer and IT guru so had a difficult time with societal norms and social cues. It was really endearing. If you are looking for a true enemies-to-lovers book (which I typically steer clear of), this is more of a "we got off on the wrong foot"-to-lovers, which I enjoyed.

Shiloh, the witch bar owner, I found to be a little abrasive and more difficult to relate to, which is ironic because Orson was supposed to be the antisocial one. I found her quick to over react and it felt like she was forever interpreting Orson's acting in the most negative light. Orson had to work so hard to win her over but aside from being destined for one another, I couldn't really understand why he would want to.

I struggle with characters that don't act in their best interest so I had a hard time with Shiloh's secrecy and Orson doing the lone wolf thing, but that's a personal preference as a reader. What I loved was when they were working together and I wish there had been more of that in this book.

I'm sure I'll pick up Traitor Wolf at some point and will probably continue with the series because I enjoyed the writing and story for the most part.

I was given an ARC and voluntarily wrote a review.

We are back with Howling Death MC. This story introduces us to Orson. The introverted pack treasurer. We already met Shiloh from book one as Sawyers ex.

Together Shiloh and Orson meet in the most unconventional way and instantly butt heads. But Orsons wolf instantly feels a connection and is determined to protect Shiloh at all costs. But...No one expected her to need saving so soon.

When Shiloh is cornered by a dragon shifter and threatened to make an ancient potion called Visakari's kiss, the fear she faces is like no other. Now with trying to maintain her sanity, deal with Orson's unorthodox people skills and trying to not also think about what his hands feel like on her body...she definitely has her work cut out for her.

When the wall breaks between them, the spark is fast and thunderous. They are an explosion of feelings and steam. Orson senses something is off and when he finds out by what and whom, secrets come out of the woodwork that no one expected.

What is Orson hiding? Will Shiloh be able to make the impossible deadline the dragon shifter has bestowed on her? Can Werewolves and Witches really be fated?

I enjoyed this story. I'm liking this world the author has created for us and I am eager to read about the next story. We also get snippets of Sawyer and Riley and its always nice to see the old characters with updates. Orson's personality took some getting used to, but with the way Shiloh acted, we weren't the only ones frustrated. lol. Looking forward to more.

*Overall 4/5
*Heat? 4/5
*Med/Slow Burn
*Dual first person POV
*Ends on HFN

There is just something incredibly captivating when it comes to a paranormal storyline, where werewolves, dragons, vampires, witches, and other fascinating creatures come together and completely immerse you in their world. Sophie Ash has done a beautiful work by portraying two rather different characters, who despite their initial differences, discover that they have more in common than they anticipated at first.

Shiloh is a little firecracker, there is so much bubbliness and quirkiness to her that it was impossible for me not to like her. As the story progresses, one could easily see that the witch has a tender soul and her dedication, love and care towards her community is admirable, even when her own safety is at risk. So, when Orsen comes into the picture things take a different direction. In contrast to Shiloh’s character, Orsen is a rather broody, withdrawn werewolf. As the saying goes, opposites attract and despite their hesitations, the characters start to uncover who the actual person in front of them is, beyond all complex layers.

There are some unexpected revelations that really surprised me, but I love the book even more for those thrilling delights. I will be reading more from the Howling Death MC universe for sure.

I am so grateful to Booksprout that every now and again I find a little gem to read.

This is the first book I’ve read by Sophie Ash. I really really really enjoyed this book. This is the second book in the Howling Death MC series and can be read as a stand alone. I love PNR especially about werewolves. It’s my jam!!! The characters were complex and had amazing chemistry. I loved the angst, action, mystery, spicy parts, and drama this book contained. The story was original and beautifully written. I couldn’t put it down until the end.

Shiloh was a witch running her own business. She was stubborn, independent and loyal. I loved her determination in this book. Or son was quite, intense and new to his pack. I loved their interactions. They had me laughing, fist pumping for both characters or shaking my head at their stubbornness.

If you like PNR and have read Cate C. Wells or Sam Crescent you will totally enjoy Sophie Ash. I’m going to pick up the first book so I can start at the beginning. Such an amazingly captivating read. The writing was spot on, the world was exciting and enticing.

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I was provided with an ARC but my opinions are my own and my opinion is that I LOVEDDDDD THIS.

I finished it in one day, I loved it so much. I didn’t read the first book in the series but I feel like everything was explained in a way that I got the information without it being repetitive.

There is something about a broken H that is socially awkward and doesn’t believe he can be loved….. they are my favorite.

Orson was quiet and grumpy and delicious.

I really appreciated that he was not a raging manwhore, it has been a VERY long time for him. And with the h i’m assuming she was with the H from the previous book because they were dating but there is no drama between the h and her ex or any ow drama AT ALL.

There is also something to be said about an h who always feels second best because she’s not a shifter and wolves don’t mate with humans. The rejected feeling is very relatable.

I wanted to bring Orson home and wrap around him like a koala for hugs. Yes, he's grumpy. Yes, he's awkward. But he really doesn't know better in most instances. He doesn't know how to read the room because he's constantly trying to remember how to be civil when he was raised without much civility.

I actually shouted inside my head a couple times at Shiloh. She projected her insecurities from past relationships on him, and even though I know she wasn't trying to hurt him, she kept pushing him away, instead of listening. I haven't had this much sympathy for a male character in a long time, as I usually identify more with the females.

I could forgive Shiloh because I knew she had a good heart and was struggling not to settle for less than she was worth, due to past hurts. And Orson was often gruff and didn't know how to handle her insecurities.

The two of them butted heads frequently, but when they finally made amends, I was pleased to see them together.

I absolutely loved reading the story about Shiloh who is a witch and lives above the bar she owns in the Vargmore territory which is governed by the Howling Death MC. She meets Orson, who is a wolf shifter after hours in her bar, he informs her that he is installing security cameras, but she kicks him out and tells him never to return. Not long after Orson leaves, a dragon shifter who is an enemy to the territory, informs Shiloh that she is to make him a potion. This leads to her needing a plant that is believed to be extinct, but Orson knows where it is growing and goes and find some for her. Orson is socially inept, but his wolf recognises that Shiloh is his mate, what follows is an exciting story, full of drama and action, and of course an attraction that they can’t deny. There is a happy ending but these to have to go through the refiners fire before it happens.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

Enemy Wolf is a fun, enjoyable read. I liked the chemistry between the two leads and the spice level was good for me!
I thought the overall plot points were really good and engaging. I loved the pack camaraderie and how they protected each other and supported each other. I would have liked more clues of Orsan’s story from his point of view (as we did have chapters from his pov), for example some clues dropped earlier about what it was he was hiding from his past and why he felt he couldn't share that with Shiloh even when he realised she was his mate.
Something that did bother me as I was reading was the description of Shiloh as someone everyone loved and how friendly she was and how important community was to her, and yet, she didn't have one close friend. This didn't make sense in light of how we were supposed to perceive her.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Shiloh is a witch and the owner of a bar frequented by humans and shifters. She is strong and determined to live her life on her own terms. Orsen is a wolf shifter and tech specialist for the pack. He is also socially awkward and has poor people skills because of his history growing up. Their relationship gets off to a very rocky start despite Orsen's efforts to connect with Shiloh, who his wolf knows is his mate.

There are some major twists and turns in the story, including Shiloh's secret and Orsen's past that invades his present life. His need to protect his mate and puts himself in grave danger. Of course, there is a wonderful happily ever after!

Sophie Ash is a terrific writer, and her work keeps the reader engaged from the beginning. I can't wait to start reading her next book.

This is the second b0ok in the Howling Death MC series, and like the first one, it's great!

This one follows Shiloh and Orson, who you meet in book one, and their story is intense! Sophie Ash (Crystal Ash) has written one of my all-time favorite MMCs (Shadow from SDMC), but I'm always blown away at how she manages to keep churning out these MMCs that make weak-kneed and simp-y. Seriously, I feel like I should call her my mother in law or something--I mean, I'm mentally married to several men that she has created, soooo...yeah, that's weird, but you get what I'm trying to say.

Anyways, Orson is a growly lil' grump, and I LOVE it. The chemistry between the two characters is divine, and the story just swallowed me up!

This series is perfect for those that love paranormal romance with spice and relationships that are hard earned.

Orson & Shiloh

Loved me some Orson!! And he just kept getting better as his character developed! Wow! What a secret!

Now, I felt bad for Shiloh on book one but as ANNOYING 😑 as I found this go around I see why Sawyer left her!

Orson was sweet, quiet, a bit aloof and awkward just trying to aclamate to pack life after being Feral. All things he and others expressed to this broad.

She was obviously hurt and resentful of being dismissed in her last relationship and pretty much came off as a bully to Orson WHO WAS TRYING EVERYTHING TO KEEP THE PEACE AND MAKE HER CRAZY SELF HAPPY! To the point of putting his own life on the line!

She was frustrating and honestly undeserving of such an awesome mate.

But who am I to question fate!

I said what I said!
As always: don't take my word for it.
Read the book, form your own opinions, and support your authors!

After getting introduced to Shiloh in Traitor Wolf, I was so anticipating her HEA. This book was so good! I loved the first of this series but this one gave that slow angsty build with so much tension.

Shiloh is the definition of a girl boss who sticks up for herself and stands by her boundaries. Orson is so cute with his lack of social skills but also, a badass protector. With dual POVs, we get inside both of their minds. Seeing fate draw them together, with them having no control whatsoever, made for an enjoyable read.

Overall, all the twists and reveals at the end threw me for a loop. With all the characters and different species in this world, there are so many possibilities and I'm excited to see who we read about next!

I really enjoyed this book. It was my first by Sophie Ash, but will not be my last. Her writing is top-notch. I love the idea of the world of shifters and witches and other magical beings existing alongside our world. So many possibilities for interesting stories and pairings like this one! The MMC, Orson, (what a great name) is nerdy, grumpy and socially awkward, but also fiercely protective, vulnerable and ultimately lovable. I haven’t read the first book in the series yet which introduced Shiloh, the FMC, but it didn’t detract from my understanding or enjoyment of the story. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading the next in the series. Also, I can’t say enough good things about all the others written under the author’s other pen name, Crystal Ash.

I really enjoyed this book. This new world is growing and becoming more and more intriguing. Orson and Shiloh were brilliant. The enemies to lovers vibe was perfect and the story progressed so well that I was always greedy for more more more!

The spice, as always with this author, was hot and weaved so well into their developing love story too.

Throw in the paranormal element and I was in book heaven!

I can’t wait for the next ones and to find out more about some of the other creatures in this world, like the dragons, angels and vampires.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Enemy Wolf is the 2nd book in the Howling Death MC Series by Sophie Ash. Set in the territory of Vargmore, a paranormal enclave next to the human world, where Shifters, Witches, Vampires, and even a stray dragon or two, live.

Shiloh is a witch who runs the local pub, Stout & Spirit. She's independent, fiesty, and when the story opens, a little annoyed that someone is breaking into her closed bar.

Orson is a member of the Howling Death MC, their treasurer and resident security/tech guru. He's also a former feral wolf, and dealing with others is sometimes difficult for him to navigate. Like asking for permission to enter the Stout & Spirit to enhance security.

You can see how this is going to be a problem.

Later that night after her show down with Orson, a run in with an apex predator pushes Shiloh into a corner to protect secrets she's kept hidden for years.

But Shiloh isn't the only one with secrets they'd rather not be found, and Orson fights against his wolf to protect his mate, himself, and his club, no matter how much they both want the tantalizing witch. Because Orson has had difficulty adjusting to life in apack and MC, he also has trouble communicating to Shiloh exactly who she is too him.

Frenemies to lovers, fated mates, overprotective hero, Enemy Wolf is filled with secrets and twists, spice (that moon run scene!) and heart, hope and healing, all wrapped up in a good story. This one is perfect for your next weekend off.

Enemy Wolf is book two in the Howling Death MC series. Even though this is book two in the series, it can be read as a standalone. In this book, we meet Orson (wolf), the awkward and introverted pack treasurer. Of course Shiloh (FMC / witch) and Orson immediately dislike each other and there are so many obstacles and poor Orson cannot figure out why he feels so protective over someone who is essentially a stranger. But let me tell you, when they finally give in to the pull…wowzers!! This was a fun and unique take on shifters and I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Sophie Ash is a new author to me and I will for sure be back. This sort of enemies to lovers book was a fun read!

Orson and Shiloh

This was the first time I read a book from Sophie Ash and I really enjoyed it. I just loved Orson to pieces and his wolf. He is so awkwardly amazing. He is such a sweetheart that is drawn to protect Shiloh. She's a witch whose had some not so favorable experience with men. What aggravates me about her is how she treats Orson at times. Especially when she believed the dragon over him. A dragon who's his half brother. Yes that makes Orson a half wolf and half dragon and what an amazing hybrid he is. If you like paranormal books then you will like this one also. I hope Tryn gets a story also.💕💕

I actually enjoyed this story even more than the first in the series. Shiloh is the witch who runs the local bar at the edge of the wolf territory with the vampires. The hero from the first story in this series had broken up with her before finding his mate and Shiloh is a bit wary. Orson is a former feral wolf who has been with the Howling Death MC for ten years, in charge of their security and the treasurer. He's been tasked with improving the security at the bar, but Shiloh isn't interested in being told what to do. These two are the epitome of opposites attract. There is an ongoing mystery and some hidden truths that become exposed at the worst time. Loved the eventual HEA.

Shiloh is a witch who owns a local bar in the area that everyone loves. Most recently it seems that the Alpha of the Howling Death MC decided to send one of his men down to install cameras in the bar but she doesn't expect to find a socially awkward wolf Orson who doesn't understand he should ask permission first. Orson has been feral for most of his life so sometimes it is hard to communicate and understand cues from people, but Shiloh is taking no shit from him and his wolf wants to protect and keep her. This was the perfect amount of adventure and spice and I can't wait to read the next book!
