I was waiting for Wilder and Cora’s story, and it did not disappoint. It had me laughing out loud. They did not get along very well in Thorne and Mabel’s book, and I was curious how it would all play out. Wilder refused to admit that Cora was even his mate at first and didn’t care what anyone had to say about it. Cora fought it a little but was mostly frustrated by how much she didn’t want to fight it. When Wilder came to his sense he decided he was going to woo her and the rest was history. All of the steamy insta love feels.

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This was an amazing fated mates romance. I loved the story, especially Wilder and the way he almost ruined his own chances with Cora before they even got to know each other. It just set up the story in a humorous way and I was there for it. I can already say that three stories in this series will not be enough because I’m really loving it.

Once he stops fighting his fated mate bond Wilder has a ton of grovelling to do and his stunning, sugary-sweet and very sassy mate is not going to go easy on him! Fortunately he has a silver tongue to go with his French maid outfit and finally, Cora will at least listen as he admits to being a dumbass!

Fozzie bear has to win over his mate Cora after being rude to her. Wilder had not met his future sister in law’s sisters so when his brother asks him to stop by their place he meets Cora, he’s shocked that she is his mate and says he’s not ready to be tied down for the rest of his life. Cora promptly tells him no one wants to be tied to him and slams the door in his face.
Now his bear is pissed at him and so is his mate. Cora is human but knows about shifters and knows about mates. She feels feelings for Wilder who she calls Fozzie cause it pisses him off. He starts going to the honey bun shop and talking to Cora who he calls his sweet tart. Things almost go off the rails when he sees Cora hug the sheriff, Wilder and the sheriff have a huge fight in front of the shop, his brother Clay stops it and tells the sheriff he will find a suitable punishment for Wilder in lieu of being thrown in jail. (In Thorne’s book the guys had bet Thorne would not be able to handle other bears sniffing around his mate. When he lost it his punishment was to wash the family’s cars wearing a bikini top.) Wilder has to dress in a sexy French maid’s outfit complete with big red heels and stay at the honey bun shop all day. After all that Cora decides to forgive him and goes home with him. They talk and sleep separately, the next morning she wakes to find Wilder in his bear form. Once he shifts back they have their first time together. It’s sweet and sexy. I love yous and epilogue with Cora pregnant with twin girls.

Cora and Wilder are sweet together. Wilder is an idiot at the beginning and he said something that made Cora's sassy's side give it right back to him before slamming the door in his face. He quickly realized that fighting this mating pull is stupid and he regrets it, so he decides to woo her to get her. She makes him work for it and they give into each other.
I love this second book, on the second brother bear shifter romance trilogy and there is one more!

I cannot wait for the third book and I am glad we do not get any romance in the cat and wolf shifters of this small univers because when Wilder explains the shifter world to Cora he lets us in on the other animals. Cat shifters are horndogs, wolf shifters look for other wolf shifters to have sex with until they meet their 'intended mate", but it isn't powerful of course because they gave their body to others, so the bond is week. Only bear shifters mate one mate, their fated mate for life and no other, and their bond lasts for eternity. Even in the next life and in the next and in the next, the two souls will find each other and fall in love all over again! I am glad that we get bear shifters in this series because I would hate to read on the other shifters in this world!
This was a good one and I cannot wait for the last book!

Okay, so don't come for me...
BUT...
I think this one was more annoying and a bigger disappointment than the first one.
After reading the synopsis I really expected Cora to make Wilder work for her. But she pretty much gave in within a day or two after he pretty much mouthed off.
Cora also was a very jaded character, which is weird because we aren't told any information or background on them, but at the same time there is no reason for her to be the way she is about relationships. It's just weird that the youngest would be so jaded on men and relationships, especially since she's never been in one before.

Cora just moved into Honey Pot Hollow with her two sisters and they opened a bakery in the shifter community. Wilder Bearly is a bear shifter and when he smells Cora he first refuses to give in... And Cora hears that. Loved this one. This series is really good! Cora and Wilder were so great together. Wilder was determined that he was too young for a mater, so he put his foot in his mouth the minute he met his. By the time he realized his mistake, it was too late so he has his work cut out for him. I loved watching him make up for it, and I loved how perfect these two were for each other. Can't wait for Clay and Bethany!

Wilder and Cora have explosive chemistry. With both denying their feelings for as long as they could, once they got together, it was truly a match made in heaven. I love this series. Bearly Tart is exceptional, fiery, funny, and once you start reading you are hooked. Wilder and Cora light up your kindle with their chemistry, heated passion and banter. I cannot recommend this enough. I’m so excited for more. A must must Exciting, scorching, addictive, story/series that takes you on an adventure of the heart and love that you will read again and again.

Good Read
I feel like the storytelling has improved in this book. It's still awkwardly packed in a couple spots but it was a lot more fun to read this one, though it is imperative to read book 1 to ease through this one.
I'm also glad the swearing was toned down a little in this book. The boys come off as a little too mouthy.

Fmc, forgave mmc too soon
I enjoy the characters n their banter with one another in these stories in the series. But I'm disappointed that the fmc gave in to easily. She did not make the mmc work for it. Yea, he took it slow, but there was no real making him earn her trust n make ip for his rejection. I hate fmc who are written to give in to easily. Ruins the story.

I absolutely love the newest book in the Honey Pot Hollow series. Wilder is the one brother who doesn't want to find his mate when he meets Cora. He tries to fight his feelings, but they get the perfect ending. I adore this series and love every character. This book had the sweetest ending.

This book was just as enjoyable as book one. Such a sweet romantic read. I also enjoyed the rivalry between the brothers. The payoffs for their bets are hilarious. All is good and they end up with their HEA.

This was definitely worth the read. Wilder needed his head examined he almost screwed up his entire life cause he didn't want to settle down. Cara, thank goodness, made him work for it, but not as hard as she should have.
