Full of purses, wallets, clutches, and bags for every use and purpose, nothing is too easy or intricate and there's a challenge for everybody nomattter what skill level. I particularly liked the different fabrics the author/creator used for each of her projects, which inspired me to re-use old scrabs and buttons to create something new.
I would recommend this as a way of upcycling material rather than buying new material.

I made the Cute Elizabeth Bag from Bags: The Modern Classics. I adore the bag and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. My one complaint is that nowhere in the book can I find the recommended seam allowance, so I went with 1/2".

All done!

I plan to make more bags from the book. So many cute options!

Love this book! I made the Urban Carryall for a friend's birthday and she (and I!) absolutely loved it! It was the hardest level and took me about 5 hrs (including tracing the pattern and fighting with my quirky sewing machine) and I still made it without swearing! Will absolutely make more carryalls and other bags from this book.

I was so surprised by the content

When I usually get a Kindle unlimited book, especially books that are less than $5.00 I'm usually disappointed by the content in the book. I do actively try to find some tip I can use and I feel grateful that I didn't buy the book. This book was not on Unlimited and I took a chance on buying it. This book was great. The patterns are unique and bags I would love working on. Don't be afraid of copying the steps described and learn how to create new patterns. I love the fact that this was less than $4.00 and I will be trying to make a new bag soon.

This book has so many great patterns and excellent instructions. I want to try them all. The photos are beautiful and show the effects of different styles of fabrics.

I love this book! I made the Sweet AnneMarie bag in about four hours. I did add an interior slip pocket, and added rings to both sides of the strap. The instructions are clear and easy to understand, with nice photographs for those of us visual learners. I can't wait to try another bag from this book!

Cute projects, but once again, didn't have what I'm looking for. Maybe I'm just being too picky!

Kim’s instructions are clear and simple. The bags in this book are cute and I plan to make several. These are not complex sewing projects, so pass on these if you want patterns that include many pockets and zippers. On the other hand, the patterns can certainly be adapted.
