"You know I'm up for a challenge. "

I LOVE this series. I love that all of Blake Pierce's protagonists are kick ass women who are confident and good at what they do, respected by their colleagues and not over looked or given excuses because of their gender.

And I especially love that their significant others are not threatened by having a strong, independent woman in their lives.

THIS is how it should be!
I also love that while these women are tough and can hold their own they have not lost their feminine qualities or dismiss the need and importance of having their loves in their lives.

Both partners in the relationship can be strong and independent and still reliant and need the other for love, comfort, and security.

I hope there are more Nicky Lyons books coming, Blake!!!

Nicky has returned to her hometown to work on her sister's disappearance case, which has been finally reopened, and this time she can count on Ken's help. However, they are called to work on a more urgent case, someone is kidnapping and killing women and leaving love notes behind. It's a difficult case almost with no leads to be pursued but the agents, after a lot of investigating are able to get to the culprit. They are also able to finally put at rest Nicky's sister's case with an unexpected result. A good ending for the series.

I loved this series! I literally did not want to put it down. Each story left you on the edge of your seat and led you one step closer to finding out what happened to Nicky’s sister and it honestly did not disappoint!
