4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return.
5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above.
6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word.
7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home.
8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie 'Sleeping with the Enemy,' but I can't seem to control this particular quirk.
9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain.
10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

Resetting First Impressions

4.5 stars - Aidan and Chelle are scorching! I love how they had prior interactions that set their opinions of one another before it all got blown out of the water. The dessert portion of their first date it hot, hard, and absolutely perfect!

There's a big bump (not that kind!) that they need to overcome. It's a bit touch and go there for a hot second but the ending is *muah* just right. 🎉💋♨💚

The Man of the Month Club is actually a group of girlfriends who meet and use the fun matchmaking app developed by one of the members to present a man each month who has been matched to one of the members. January’s match had been very successful. Chelle is a local tv correspondent whose car wouldn’t start outside a sex store where she went to buy favors for a bachelorette party. Aidan, an ambitious conservative senator, stops to help her. Later, at the bachelorette party that has been combined with the Man of the Month Club, Chelle finds that she has been matched with Aidan. She found him handsome, built and successful but not particularly funny or adventurous like she prefers. But after they are together she realizes Aidan can be warm, funny, and sexy. After video is released of them outside the sex store he releases information that they are dating, but are they fake dating? After more pictures are accidentally released can their new relationship survive?

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun story of two seemingly opposites who come together. Chelle’s opinion of Aiden totally changed once she got to know him. His public conservative image did not mean that he wasn’t fun, adventurous, and loving. It was a great story to read about their developing feelings and the epilogue was great. I can’t wait to read about the next match from the Man of the Month Club.

Man of the Month Club: February is hot, sexy and so unexpected. Chelle is enjoys having fun in life, she is not a wild child, but she not a prude either. Aiden, a Senator, has his eye set for the big prize, with that he has to make sure he is always on the straight and narrow, some may even say boring. When Aiden and Chelle are matched up, she is adamite that there is a mistake, but give him a chance. For Aiden there is something about Chelle that has him stepping out of his shell.

Love Aiden's character, he is all straight lace in the public, but get him behind closed door he is hotter than sin. They way he switches from hot and cold gave me whiplash, but the end just make you want to melt.

A group of girlfriends have just started meeting each month under the pretense their attending a “Book of the Month Club”. As it turns out, it's actually a front for a “Man of the Month Club”. Some girls within the group are more excited than others about this new dating game.
The rules of the game: One of the girls in the group finds a man willing to participate and his identity remains a secret until the match is revealed. Each girl has previously filled out a questionnaire about themselves. The one with the highest compatibility rating to the current man wins themselves a date.
January was the first month of the dating app venture and that pairing was a great success. High hopes are riding on February's match. I mean honestly; What could go wrong?
Author Ann Omasta has penned a entertaining yet poignant look into the new world of dating.

Aidan is the youngest senator elected in Indiana with aspirations to become the President. Chelle is a news reporter who did an exposé on the senator's meteoric rise to success and she found him boring, grim and uptight. They were matched by Phoebe's matchmaking application. How will things work out between them? This is a quick read. It is light, funny and sweet. I like both of the main characters' personalities. It is an easy story to read with a satisfying ending. I can't wait to read the next story about Chelle's sister.

Chelle is forced to go to a sex toy shop because she was asked to purchase a few raunchy decorations for a bachelorette party, but she can’t wait to get out of there. Naturally, her oh-so-obvious purple Jeep won’t start when she gets outside, so she has to be humiliated being noticed there. It gets even worse when boring and respectable Senator Aidan Roberts taps on her window to see if she needs help. To her complete dismay, when footage of their parking lot meeting at the local sex store goes viral online, the only way to play it down is to pretend to be in a fake dating relationship.

Spending time together, Chelle discovers her proper senator can loosen up behind closed doors! He is far more interesting than she had assumed! Will their time together let them begin to discover a deeper feeling for each other? Are both willing to accept that their feelings have become real now?

This was a cute story about the importance of not pre-judging someone before you know the truth. Preconceived notions can lead to all sorts of wrong information. But in this case, it just might be headed in the right direction! Grab your copy and see if they can head off the scandal, save their careers, and fall in love!

After reading this story I don't know of anyone that would have dry pants. Chelle is a news reporter and she had interviewed Senator Aiden Roberts and found that he was the most boring person ever. Then when Aiden shows up at the bachelorette party she's stunned to find out that she's been matched to him. I love their first date. What a shocker to find out that he's not the dull, stuffy, boring man she thought he was. I can't wait to read the next book. This was such a fun steamy read. She is a reporter and he is a senator. These two are opposites in many way but cannot deny the chemistry they feel for long. The story is full of humor, friends, lust and love. This is a fun series, only 2 books in and I can't wait for March.
Standalone with no cliffhangers, epilogue hints at next book.
Chelle can't believe that she got matched up with Aidan. No Way! He is way to uptight and boring. Right?
Aiden Roberts may be a Senator but someday he'll be President. Chelle is all wrong, but he just can't stop thinking about her and touching her.
This book has humor and heat with a dip into major tragedy.

Chelle is a local new correspondent and is fun and loves life. Aidan is a Senator and has his eye on the bigger picture. He’s almost thought to never have fun but work. One day they get caught in a picture that was innocent but the press sees it and a scandal happens. To down play it for the press they have to pretend to be in a relationship. She starts seeing that he’s not all that he portrayed but can have fun. As the attraction gets stronger with this turn into a real relationship?

This is a hotshot of romance quickie story. This can be read as a standalone story but they are connected. Each month there's a new couple’s story. This is a fast-paced quick romance. The story is short but it’s hot and funny.

Chelle is a reporter and her image and reputation are important to her but she's adventurous and likes to have fun. She's been matched with Aiden who is a senator. Aiden has been thinking about Chelle since she interviewed him. The more he gets to know her the more intrigued he is but Chelle thinks Aiden is as exciting as beige paint. Can these two go the distance to make things work or will reputations.

This is a fun , fast paced opposites attract romance between Chelle and Aiden. The author brings strong characters and an entertaining story line with perfectly painted scenes and a fun dialogue. She brings a bit of suspense and tons of humor and romance and delivers a well written story that moves quickly and smoothly and is a great short read.

Aidan and Chelle find themselves in an unusual predicament- good intentions and all leads to a fake relationship and fast feelings. I enjoyed reading this opposites attract story and found it had just enough drama, humor, and passion to keep me routing for a real HEA. Chelle is a journalist and she and her friends meet once a month for a book club which in reality is a matchmaker man of the month club where they are matched with a man. Chelle is the one chosen for February for a match and she is matched with congressman Aiden who is stuffy and nothing in common with tell it like it is Chelle. What she does not know is he is they actually have a lot in common. Loved this sexy fun romance with great characters.

Aidan is so much more then meets the eye and lucky for us we’re alongside Chelle as she discovers exactly what is politician has been keeping buried. A fast paced partially insta-romance that will keep you wanting more. I felt the sexual scenes were a bit back to back but overall a steamy story. I love how each book is a standalone but intertwined within each other. I’m hooked on this series and need to jump into the next months.

I can’t get enough of these authors. I think it has become an addiction to be honest. They books are so good and go by so quickly. I get lost in these stories. For Chelle and Aidan it doesn’t seem like love at first sight. I thought they’d bicker and fight and not like each other for a bit. But Aidan shows his true colors pretty quickly and Chelle ends up changing her opinion on him. And man am I glad she did!

News woman goes to sex shop to get decorations for a batch party senitor sees her having car problems swoops in to help only for a video to cause a stire. He thinks shes hot she thinks hes borring but decide to fake date to save face and reputation. One hot night turns into yet another scandle.. will he walk away or profess his love..loved to see him fall first and for her to relise there is so much more to the guy she would have never considered first.

When the Man of the Month Club's matching algorithm matches TV reporter Chelle with a young senator on the fast track whose last interview was the most boring day of her life, she's convinced the program must be mistaken. She's in for some BIG surprises in this hot, sweet, funny romance of the month.

Exploring Their Matched Mates -
This short story is quite interesting, in that it is about a man who has to use subterfuge to woo the woman he likes, as there are repercussions for any missteps they may take in the public domain. This novella is romantic, with funny moments and a little bit of drama. With the world being so crazy right now, this sweet story was exactly what I needed. You will enjoy it just as much as I did.

The man of the month club matches Chelle and Aiden , it's a fun fast paced quickie read , getting matched with Aiden is a nightmare for Chelle as when she interviewed him she thought he was boring , loved how he proved her wrong though and they fall hard for each other pretty quick , awesome characters good storyline and an HEA ,am now looking forward the next book
