This book guides you through the cycles of the Pagan year. Twenty intricate and beautiful guided meditations lead you into the very heart of the seasons, the elements and the nature of the Divine. Meet the Wind and the Queen of Air; stand watch as the Sun King is reborn on Yuletide day; cross the barren lava fields with Pele, and learn to shapeshift like Gwion in his flight from Cerridwen.

I do have an interest in path-working/hedge-riding, and I do celebrate a form of the wheel of the year minus the wicca flavor.
This is too neo-wicca for me. Donated my copy.
Pretty disappointed at the use of "totem animals", when you could easily just use animal spirits, and not appropriate. I noticed that is a trend for a long time in archaic new age books (and not so archaic books tbh).
I am also irked at the use of Celtic, when all the Celtic countries have different languages, cultures, and religious beliefs. Also different gods.
This is an older book, published in 1997. It is very basic and has meditations for each of the Elements, Sabbats, and a few select Dieties. There is not much else information in here, it focuses mainly on the meditation itself. I recorded myself reading the meditations on a voice app on my phone so that I can listen to them later. It's very hard to read something and meditate at the same time. If you are looking for something long and in-depth, then this is not the right book for you. Yasmine Galenorn does have quite a few books to choose from, though, so if you don't find what you're looking for with this one, I'm sure she has something on it in another book.
