Beautiful artwork children’s book to cure the laziness "bug". I love everything about this book: the facial expressions of all the characters, the story, the Big Bug who finally gets the message and the happy ending. And ohhhh you don’t want to miss the cute little red bug…adorable is all I am going to say! 🥰
Bug is lazy & doesn’t like doing very much. The other bugs tease him because he doesn’t shower, brush his teeth, or change his cloths. Bug is always late for school.
How did Mommy & Daddy handle Bug?

An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (becoming independent, making good decisions), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

What a funny, delightful, well illustrated and colorful book Ms Tomar. My granddaughter and I enjoyed it very much. We are teaching my grandchildren to clean, help around the house and take care of their personal hygiene. We prepare their toothbrushes, face towels and clothes for the day, after that they are on their own. I would recommend this book to parents to teach their children independence and confidence to do things for themselves. I gave this book five stars because it teaches building confidence and encourages children that they can do anything and everything.❤️❤️👏👏👍👍
Of course, it’s easy being lazy. What’s hard, is doing something about it. Lazy Bug is spoiled from the day he is born, so he is not motivated to work or exert himself in any way. These habits bug the bugs around him, but Lazy Bug cannot be moved. His parents eventually wise up, and stop spoiling him, and Lazy Bug is then forced to fend for himself. He stumbles along the way, but eventually becomes a productive member of society. This is a great book to teach kids not to be dependent on others nor a burden on their friends and neighbors.
It's not easy being a Lazy Bug: A Hilarious Story For Teaching Kids The Value of Independence and Doing Things For Themselves by Pragya Tomar – This was a Bookbub freebie. I may be alone in this stance, but these people created a lazy kid. So it’s only fair that the lazy bug assumes that he will be catered to hand and foot. But good job to these parents for realizing that they had created a problem that would ruin their child’s future! Happy Reading!
Lazy Bug likes to do nothing, but his friends and family quickly get tired of being bossed around when Lazy Bug refuses to help himself. So Lazy Bug must learn to do things for himself.
I found the organization of this otherwise clever children's book terribly confusing. There was too much backstory, and it could have done with a little less explaining and a bit more faith in the reader. Still, the character development is well done and the illustrations attractive.
I know a few lazy bugs that need to read this book. It's funny and sad at the same time. Independence is a self -esteem booster and a pride builder. Having the ability to be self sufficient makes you feel good and makes you even want to help others. It's a great start in team building and leadership skills.
This was such a funny little story about a lazy bug who doesn't want to do anything. I a bit of a lazy bug myself too and sometimes made the same excuses. This is such a fun way to teach young kids to make the effort to do things on their own and not rely on others. It's a great lesson in responsibility and growing up.
My 4 kids loved this book! They had the giggles and laughs. i thought the illustrations went great with the story and it teaches kids to start being independent and doing things for themself. Will read again! Wonderful ✨✨✨
We all know a lazy bug or two. The book as a good moral and some fun illustrations. Bug realizes being independent sometimes has its advantages too. Nice message and story!
One Lazy Bug doesn't want to learn self-sufficiency until he finally realizes he's able to take care of himself without always asking for help. This sudden awareness builds his confidence. Sweet story of growing pains and finally growing up.
This is an easy-to-read book that teaches young children some valuable lessons about helping around the house. It is a cute story with nice, bright illustrations.
For all the kids who feel lazy, this book is going to be a fun, empowering read. We all have a lazy bug in us. It's so important we do our part, and help kids see more in books like these.
A cute, colourful story for teaching kids the value of doing work, learning how to take care of themselves and what can happen when they don't. I liked it - it could have been a little funnier to make kids giggle more, but overall a story that children will like.
Great little book for young children to read and to have read to them!
It's also beautifully and engagingly illustrated and teaches the value of taking pride in learning to be independent, with the ability to learning to do daily living tasks for oneself.
I enjoyed this book. The artwork is very cute and the story encourages kids to be more independent and take better care of their things and themselves.
A well illustrated book that teaches children how to be independent. With guidance and encouragement, children can be independent and do things on their own.
Does a good job of showing that kids can change their ways bit by bit, with baby steps, and even if they aren't always perfect, they are still making progress.
