This is a superb piece of work. It has been used a few times to lead tours for my motorcycle club to the Salient.

As well as the top sights the book has so many places to visit. The info for all is just enough to intrigue.

If you are planning a trip to Ieper/Ypres, there really is no better book to point you to the right locations. There have been a range of books that complement/expand on what is here but for a sound basis, especially when combined with the map, this is the best. Very highly recommended.

I read this before my trip to Ypres and intend to take it with me. It gives a clear explanation of the various battles and then a guide as to what you can see where.
