This is a great book - I love this! Joshua Delaney breathes new life into the tale of Pirate Sam Bellamy and Maria Hallett. Part "Pirates of the Caribbean", part "The Scarlet Letter" and part "The Crucible" this is an adventure, a mystery, a love story and a social commentary. Of course my love for all things Cape Cod (my family's home) doesn't hurt either. But if you love good historical fiction then this story of early 18th century New England is a wicked good yarn.

Captivating Historical Fiction Novel!
This book captures the true essence of colonial Cape Cod. It is easy to relate to the characters and to truly become a part of them. It is an entertaining read and a page turner.
