Blue and Steve make some decorations then wander around giving out presents to their friends who are celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.

My daughter loved Blue's Clues, but even she found this boring when she was four.

I'm always happy to read another book from an author my 2 1/2 year old enjoyed in the past. My daughter had loved her book called Blue Is My Name but this book lost her interest about 3 pages from the end.
It was an okay book but neither of us enjoyed it as much as her other book we read.

In this Blue's book she helps kind of explain what each Holiday people celebrate is. Very much like the television show but 'shortened' but it helps explain (a little without being 'in your face') about the different Holiday's people celebrate around the end of December.

If your child loves Blue's Clues, then go ahead and read it, otherwise there are better holiday options. There are a few things going for this book other than branding: there are holiday craft ideas and the mention of other holidays. This story includes all of the familiar characters.
