Excellent source for the Edward Bruce years in Ireland. The editor, who also contributes, is perhaps better qualified than anyone else to handle this topic. Well worth reading.

I found this a bit dry, would have liked a bit more drama or storytelling flair in the writing.
Imagine if he'd succeeded and successfully united Scotland and Ireland.
