In both Spanish and English, two tiny mice express their love in big terms. On a walk together, the mice learn that their love is bigger than 1 bear, taller than 2 giraffes, larger than 3 blue whales. As they count from 1 to 10, the mice discover that their love is greater than anything they can imagine. Siempre. Forever.
Charming collage illustrations and pages sturdy enough for even the littlest hands make this counting story ideal for sharing.

A unique way to communicate that you love your kiddo and teach them numbers and animals! The animals chosen are appropriate to the adjective (my love for you is as wide as two elephants, for example) which can also help the children learn what those adjectives mean.
My Love for you is a very simple book that introduces counting and different types if animals to new readers. The book can really demonstrate just strong someone's love for another while also teaching them fundamental counting and reading skills.
This children's book is simple, but teaches a great lesson that can be both emotional and logical. A child is given a great of example of how much a mother or father or someone close to them really loves them. A child might here this phrase all the time, but they never have an example of what this might look like or mean. Though this might not be the best example, I thought it was a fun way of showing a child what love can look like. I love that this books also ties in counting as well. Sometimes reading can be difficult for students and simple counting books are easy to understand for students. Having an easier book reduces frustration and embarrassment for those who may be struggling to learn to read. Because this book is so simple, there is not too much to look into. The book has a great balance of meaning and straight forwardness. I really enjoyed that aspect of the book.
I thought this book was so sweet as I read it. It takes something that the kids say all the time, I love this and I love that, and uses it to teach them about numbers. I also thought the pictures that were used would help the kids know what was going on even if they couldn't read what was on the page. They would just be able to count the animals instead and know what number they were on and help them learn to count to 10.
I don't have much to say about this book except that it can be used for counting and can be used to talk about animals. The only thing I love is 'my love for you...' when it's read in a soft voice. Maybe that soft voice can remind children that they are loved.
Son (age 6) says... "I like it because there's numbers in there and because I like animals and because I like it when the story stops sometimes and says 'my love for you...'"
Very colorful book about two friends walking together. It helps children with counting as well as understanding the fundamental of friendship. It helps children understand sharing.
