Reborn!, Vol. 18 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next eleven chapters (154–164) of the on-going manga series.

The tankōbon continues the Future arc. Kyōya Hibari easily defeats Gamma and takes Hayato Gokudera and Takeshi Yamamoto to the hideout in order for them to recuperate. Later, the adult Futa and Bianchi arrive at the hideout. While Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada trains with Lal Mirch, Hibari interrupts, wanting to test Tsuna.

Hibari traps Tsuna within a sphere of cloud flames, where Tsuna starts being questioned by the Vongola bosses about their past's sins. After Tsuna refuses to inherit those sins, the first Vongola improves his X-Gloves' abilities, allowing him to destroy the sphere. Tsuna then faces Hibari, but since the former is unable to control the new flames, he is defeated.

While training her younger brother Gokudera, Bianchi explains to him how the boxes were created, though Hibari is suspicious of the reasons of why they were made. Meanwhile, a young Chrome Dokuro finds herself lost in the future, and is attacked by a Millefiore hitman named Glo Xinia. Before being knocked out, she is awakened by the future Mukuro Rokudō who was possessing Glo's owl.

This tankōbon is written and illustrated by Akira Amano. It continues the Future arc in which Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada and eventually his contemporaries travelling ten years into the future by Lambo's Ten Year Bazooka in order to confront the Millefiore Famiglia and save the future. Tsuna and his compatriots continue to train as new powers are discovered as well as new artifacts in order to defeat the Millefiore Famiglia and return to the past.

All in all, Reborn!, Vol. 18 is a wonderful continuation to a series that seems really intriguing and I can't wait to read more.

Just like I expected, adult Hibari put a major beat down on Gamma. That guy fully deserved it after what he did to Yamamoto and Gokudera. As if it were even possible, this guy just keeps getting stronger and stronger.

Byakuran's plan is slowing coming together. So, he is the reason they are all showing up in the future. I had a hunch that it was him. He still scares me a little. It is more of a cautious scared than a terrified scare, but that could change later when we actually see him fight.

Poor little Chrome. She has been stuck alone for several days and who is the first person she sees? That creepy guy Glo Xinia. *shudders* So creepy and sickening... Makes me even more happy when Mukuro shows up and teaches him a lesson.

"What do you believe in most?" The answer to that was so much better than I anticipated. Actually, I fully expected it, but to see her illusions come to life like that. Definitely something special.

This vol was just ok. Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto commences training like with the varia to ensure they become more powerful for the upcoming battle. I liked learning more about Gokudera's past. Was definitely the highlight of this vol.

And that Hibari! I don't know what to think about him. He is the most powerful guardian, which makes him a valuable asset to the family, but it's just as Gokudera said. That guy is no ally. Yeah, I just don't know how to put it into words..

Anyways, hope things start picking up soon!

OMG!!!
