When I first saw this book in the library, I expected it to be a survey of student experiences. However, this book is actually from the perspective of many deans of undergraduate programs. Still, I found reading this helpful, especially when talking to future college students, as the book compiles the wisdom of professionals who have worked with (prospective) college students.

Wish I could download this book into my first year students’ brains. Lots of good tips I’ll be using when advising and a must read for anyone headed to college.
