I'm trying to learn Korean so I can talk to my in-laws, so I made my husband listen while I read this out loud. Three stars because he says a lot of the translations are weird, but it did help me practice my pronunciation. Vowels are hard :(
This one went over well with the preschoolers at the Story Hour I do at a local bookstore. We did not read the Korean characters, but it works fine as an English-only book, too. The kids had a great time pointing out items in the room that matched each color.
The level of vocabulary was not consistent as it had some difficult kanji alongside simple hiragana vocabulary. Very strange. This whole line of books is of questionable use.
