A glimpse of the past, I loved how the writing style was set to fit the time period. The old English touch that the author decided to use made me slow down and really savor the story. I loved the tragic love story wrapped up in magic, intrigue, and of course mystery. The age old conflict of miscommunication and bad luck made this quite the enjoyable read. This is probably the second time I’ve read this book and it was time well spent. This is a book I’m going to leave on my bookshelf for rainy day.

Did Not Finish

The heroine was weird to me. She was stuck on the idea that she and the hero were destined to be together because she'd dreamed about him, and kept stating the fact over and over. It was no wonder the hero was creeped out by her.

And then the first time the hero and heroine have sex, his squire is asleep in the same room. Ewww.

I enjoyed "Enchanted" by this author, but really, nothing else of hers since. I might have to cross her off my list.
