With health advice to cut down on meat intake, the addition of high protein beans to dishes us a great way to stretch meat ingredients and provide a protein alternative. I like the spicy tomato and bean soup and the chilli bean con carne with cheesy scones recipes. I also find the trivia interesting. Like we consume the most cans of baked beans per person in the world in the UK and yet China and Russia only had access to Heinz in the 1990s. Fascinating!

Very good ideas, especially for my toddler Henry, he loves beans and won't eat much else!
