I loved this book. Tried three cakes - Perfect Chocolate Bundt, Pear and Cranberry Bundt, and Peach, Pecan and Bourbon Bundt (this one was actually nectarine, cashew and rum bundt, lol). All three were really good. I'm spoilt for choice for what to bake next!

I bought the book recently and have tried two recipes already. Both came out superbly well. This is probably the only baking book I have seen with all 5-star ratings in Amazon (32 ratings as I type this). Came highly recommended from a friend and no regrets for ordering it immediately.

Only thing to note is, the portions are large so halving the recipes may be recommended. I even made 1/4th of a recipe once.

Recipes tried so far:

Luscious Lemon Loaf - I substituted lemon for orange
Date Toffee Cake

Got this from the library and might have a hand cramp from writing so many down! I've always used cake mixes other than one or two family recipes, but looking through here making cakes from scratch is nearly as easy! Most dont' have any odd ingredients and all are one bowl/pan wonders. Also looking forward to trying some of the different icings and glazes. The librarian mentione that she tried several that were good!
