This book was about a bunny telling a story about their owner, Eliza and how sometimes she feels sad. I thought it was interesting that the author chose to narrate the story with a bunny. I like the examples given to depict sadness. They talked about being sad when you are not able to do the things you want or go to the places you prefer. It also spoke about how you can feel sad when your favorite toys are broken or when your loved ones leave or pass away. It also touched on what happens after you feel sad and what to do with those feelings. The book provided ways to make yourself feel better when you’re sad. It also acknowledged that it is okay to be sad and to let others know how you feel. I love how it encouraged children to find alternative methods when feeling sad, like talking about their feelings and learning to be grateful for the people and things that are important in their life. I also love how they promoted happiness and encourage the reader not to hide their sadness. I would recommend this book to teachers and caregivers as a way to help children cope when they feel sad.
I love that these books are called self-help books for children. This one is pretty good -- obviously addresses being sad. I like that it talks about how it's okay to be sad and sometimes you just need to feel sad for a little while. I think adults are too quick to try to distract children rather than helping them develop the skills to manage their emotions theirselves. There's a lot of distraction in this book, but it encourages children to distract themselves and only sometimes. It's a good book.

Such a great book for kids and adults to read together!! Joy Berry has a wonderful way of bringing things to a kids level to help them understand things better. Sometimes as an adult we forget kids see and process the world differently than us.
Beautifully illustrated to help kids pay attention while learning valuable life lessons!
This series is wonderful for any home or classroom! I want them for he community center where I work!! I am also thrilled they are being made available as ebooks!!
This wonderful book discusses disappointment, sadness about losing something, and even depression. Children learn that feeling sad is normal and okay, but that talking to loved ones and/or teachers is the best way to feel better. Also liked the illustration because it help kids pay attention while learning life lessons. This book is suitable for K-2 students. Teacher can use it as read aloud and students can read it to self to to partner.
