Whether filled, glazed, or sprinkled, donuts are comfort food at its best. Featuring over 40 treats in all shapes and sizes, this book has something to tempt every palate. Chapters include the classics, new flavors, and international favorites. The book begins with a complete primer on donut making, including dough types, equipment, rolling and cutting, and deep-frying. Also included are basic recipes with mix-and-match fillings, glazes, and toppings.
I borrowed this book from the library when I was looking for donut recipes for my donut pan. These aren't made in a donut pan but there are a lot of great sounding recipes in this book that I will have to try out now.
