About the Author
Born in 192, Sita Goel took his M.A. in History in 1944, from the University of Delhi. He won scholarships and distinctions in school as well as college.
Well-versed in several languages, he had studies the literature, philosophy, religion, history and sociology of several cultures-ancient, medieval and modern. For his judgements and evaluations, however, he drew his inspiration from the Mahabharata, the Suttapitaka, Plato and Sri Aurobindo.
He had written several documented studies on communism, Soviet Russia, Red China, Christianity and Islam. Author of eight novels, he had translated into Hindi quite a few books from English, including some dialogues of Plato and a biography of Shivaji. His other works include compilations from the Mahabharata and the Suttapitaka.
Having become a convinced Communist by the time he came out of college, he turned against this criminal ideology in 1949 when he came to know what was happening inside Soviet Russia. From 1950 onwards he participated in a movement for informing the Indian people about the theory as well as the practice of Communism in Stalin's Russia and Mao's China. The numerous studies published by the movement in the fifties exist in cold print in many libraries and can be consulted for finding out how the movement anticipated by many years the recent revelations about Communist regimes.

He had Marxist leanings during the 1940s, but later became an outspoken anti-communist and also wrote extensively on the damage to Indian culture and heritage wrought by expansionist Islam and missionary activities of Christianity. In his later career he emerged as a commentator on Indian politics, and adhered to Hindu nationalism.

Such an interesting book. This book is really an eye opener. The author mentioned how some propagandist try to divide Hindu and he also mentioned anti-hindu armies. It still fit to current scenario. Must read.

Goel has written many books in detail on each of the ever spreading tentacles of threat in the garb of foreign religions in India. But this book is a summarized version and comparative case of all his individual books.
While most of us are aware of the growing threat of Islamism, Christianism and Communism, Macaulayism always goes unnoticed in these days. The author is clever and deep sighted enough to point it out and discuss. Most of the characteristic signs which he provides can be seen happening around us.
Though I have my own reservation on Goel’s stance on national language, but no one can deny his analysis and prediction and arguments on most cases of political uproar in India - we can see it even today, I need not mention specifics 😉.
For someone who would like to quickly understand the threat India faces from within, this book is quite handy and recommended.

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.” Spot on by Orwell. I would say not just the people, but an entire civilization.
This short essay was an excellent analysis of colonial and post-colonial India by Sita Ram Goel. A society of such purity has been gradually portrayed in a negative light by the four "armies," which Sita Ram describes as Christianism, Macaulayism, Islamism, and Communism. He exposes them, giving reasons for their actions, which I could never fathom. The most dangerous thing he said which I felt all along, "the danger is as much from within as is from without." The Hindu intellectuals who parade themselves as the representatives of the Hindu culture are the real victims of these four residues, acquiring the self-righteousness after thorough brainwashing to hate our own culture, all the while being ignorant of its practices, by being fed only half-truth narratives. Not just ignorant of our own, but also of the negativities in the cultures of the ones who hire them, which are sanctioned in their texts, unlike the Hindu culture - Ignorance leading to hypocrisy. The only cure to this is dedication the truth, which is universal and is the core idea of Sanatana-dharma.
Sita Ram exposes communism the best, which is the most subtle of all combined with the Macaulay-ists. Hiring from the hoity-toity bunch, these intellectuals are still present at large among the "elites," and even now, eerily I might add, aptly described by Sita Ram Goel, who had a deep understanding of the subject. Each chapter was a revelation as if watching/reading a thriller movie/book. I was admiring the work at hand, and repulsed by what ends these so called secularists are going to just to shame the Hindu culture. The template of George Orwell (a psychological masterpiece) still holds in post-colonial India.

An excellent description of the forces in Indian politics at the time of life of Mr. Sita Ram Goel (1980s). An interesting account of the public mentality and intellectual discourse during his times.
Broadly, he labels the forces inimical to India, I.e. Hindu society under 4 heads : Islamism, Christiansm, Macaulayism, Communism. Then, he goes on to elaborate about the foundations of these forces/ideologies, their aim and agenda, their support base as well as the funding and international forces supporting the same.
Though it is an excellent essay, but if facts and detailed analysis interest the reader, Breaking India by Mr. Rajiv Malhotra is recommended, as it is a book of the same category and is more updated to the current age.

Read this book to know how propaganda is done to disdain the name of Hindu. It just a small book yet it is powerful. Highly recommended.

The five enemies of Hindu society. Christianism, Islamism, Macaulayism, Communism, and The United Front comprising mainly Islamism and Communism.
Hindu Society is under attack from these fronts. If we don't fight collectively against each one of them we will likely to lose our identity for sure.
The battle is of both Psychological and Physical nature where the former is playing a major role as humanity now more inclined to enter in this kind of war because of the adoption of peace as humanity best friend.
We should win this battle as a precaution is better than cure.

Your left leaning friend (everybody has one) must occasionally make jokes on how there is "Hindutva Khatre Mein." Well, s/he is not wrong. The Hindu Society (and by extension Hindutva) is under Siege. It has been since the seventh century.

Sita Ram Goel totally nails the problems of post independence India in general, and the Hindu society specifically. Imagine writing such a profound text when no social media was available back in the day. I hope that in the coming times, India pays homage to him and adapts some of the teachings of Shri Sitaram Goel ji in mainstream history textbooks, and defeat the so called siege that he mentions in his textbook. That can be the only way of honouring this great man.

This book was originally published in 1981, but while reading it, it felt like Sita Ram Goel was discussing today's issues. It reveals that these problems existed back then and continue to this day. It's a must-read to see how relevant it still is.

Its the second book on a row of Mr. Sita Ram Goel and yet another masterclass added to my crown of feathers. In this book, author has focused on the Hindu society at large and its contribution to the peace and stability to our nation. He has identified four strains of ideology and their respective ideologues who are hell bent on destroying the status quo. I was astonished at the realization that the only ancient civilization which has managed to survive the advent of these Abrahamic faiths is none other than our Hindu civilization as every other major civilization got swept away with Christianity and Islam be it Babylonian civilization, Mesopotamian or Greek civilization
The first strain he refers to is Islamism. Western historians have considered and propagated the beginning of Hindu history with the invasion of Alexander. They continued it with an imaginary Aryan invasion and eventually Islamic invasion. To them, Hindu history has been a story of one invasion after another while for Islamic historians (in their attempt to brush aside their bloodied attempt to subjugate the local population), they tend to portray Indian society to be so oppressive that any invader who came along didn't face much resistance from the natives. They believe and propagate that before the advent of Islam, Indian society was living in utter spiritual, moral and cultural darkness like pre-Islamic Arabia and arrival of Islam opened the gates of good fortune for India. The strain of Islamism which first came in 6th century AD and has remained intact till date and since independence, this has been their strategy to keep the government as well as non-Islamic society of India on toes:
1) Indian Muslims must be encouraged to air as many grievances as possible. All such attempts must selectively portray the downtrodden nature of the minority which is oppressed, exploited and treated as a second class citizens by the "brute" Hindu majority
2) The aforementioned strategy must turn the Muslim minority into a compact vote bank which can blackmail all non-Islamic parties into taking their demands seriously by forcing such concessions into their election manifestoes
3) Indian Muslims are pressurized by their global ummah to support any international Islamic cause irrespective of whether it is good/bad, legitimate/illegitimate for example the clarion call of international Muslim community to come together in aid of Palestinians or against Israel
None of this strategy is new. These same methods led to the creation of Pakistan. The only difference is that the aid and abetment which was provided by Britishers during freedom struggle has been replaced by aid and abetment of the Arab world through oil money
The second strain is that of Christianism. In order to explain how they are fulfilling their goals, I need to highlight something which is necessary and which is common in both the Abrahamic faiths. They have a tendency to claim monopoly of truth. This exclusive nature tends to drive them towards destruction of everything which is not in line with their worldview. Christianity tends to demean and demoralize the Hindu society by claiming that Hindus never had a savior like Jesus except maybe Buddha but Buddha is used an example to justify how he had to come up Budhhism in opposition of Hinduism. St. Thomas, the famous apostle of Jesus is touted as the one who was the chosen one to liberate India and its population from the heathen beliefs of Hinduism. All the Christian organizations existing in our nation right now are are geared to complete this task which was started by St. Thomas. It is strange that majority of the Westerners have lost their interest in religion but that doesn't stop them from funding such Christian missions, orphanages and convent schools. It won't be an exaggeration if we say that Christianity has got a stronger presence here in India as far as belief on the gospel is concerned. However, in order to understand the spread of Christianity, one needs to understand few differences between between Islam and Christianity. In case of Islam, forceful conversions were the norm of the day whereas, it wasn't so in case of Christianity and this was so because during Islamic imperialism, forceful conversions were aided and abetted by the state while in case of Christian imperialism, it couldn't muster the support from British state because the age of Renaissance had dawned upon Europe and that had discredited the appeal of Christianity to a great extent. Forceful conversions under Christian imperialism were as brutal and violent as at the time of Islamic imperialism in the 16th century when Portuguese seized Goa and set up an inquisition
We often say and believe that there are not enough examples of false narratives which cast a shadow of influence on our present even after 400-500 years of their utterance and propagation. However, I believe that this example shall change your perspective. At the time of British rule, Christian missionaries had spread a rumor that Hindus were voluntarily rushing under the wheels of great chariot during the annual Jagannath Rathyatra in Puri, Odhisha. Unfortunately, the rumor didn't end there, they want on to say that the chariot was accompanied by droves of dancing girls who sang lascivious songs and made obscene gestures. William Willberforce, former British MP, ordered the destruction of Jagannath temple to stop this "devil dance" for good. The British commissioner for Puri saved the situation by writing a letter that he has been associated with the place since last 20 years and he has never witnessed a single victim coming under the wheels of the chariot. Furthermore, he clarified that nothing immodest in dance and songs sung by the girls. In the aftermath of this incidence, the word "juggernaut" was introduced in the chambers of 20th century dictionary which meant "relentless destroying force". The same can be cross-verified with the marvel character who is considered as a living embodiment of what that word means. This is a living witness to the inventive imagination of the early Christian missionaries. It is sad to know that a lot of missionaries enjoy a lot of power and pelf & the impoverished section of our society tends to mistake their rich living as a proof of superior creed.
The 3rd strain by the author has been named "Macaulayism". It has been named after the member of Governor General's Counicl, Mr. Thomas Babington Macaulay in the 1830s. He was entrusted with the task of coming up with a new education system for India, not because the existing system was not working or wasn't producing quality scholars, but because British agenda was to produce a class of Indian citizens brown of skin but English in taste and temperament. The extended purpose was to bring in the same centralized administration system in India as was functioning in England at the time. The system was geared towards maximization of state revenue and it required "properly educated gentlemen" who despised the "lower classes". This new class of citizens would hail the British raj and cooperate in securing stability in India. Thus, Hindu who suffers from this strain tends to focus only on rate of growth, gross national product and standard of living as the only criteria of progress. He/she believes that religion is a matter of private indulgence and doesn't interfere with its affect on the socio-political scene. Personally, for him/her, religion is irrelevant, though some of its rituals and festivities can occasionally add some color to life. However, most of it is obscurantism, primitive superstition and, in the Indian context at present, creator of communal riots. Such a person dreads risking his/her reputation of secularism and progressive which Islamism and Christianism confers upon him only so long as he/she silently tolerates their tirades against Hinduism. The tragedy if a Hindu victim of Macaulayism is that while he is acutely aware of the evils prevalent in Hindu society, he is not aware of Hindu doctrines which provide no sanction for these evils and which can be depended upon in any endeavor for their eradication. Furthermore, his tragedy is made doubly dangerous by his ignorance of the evils prevalent in non-Hindu societies in which he has never lived as an insider
The last strain is the Communist conspiracy. Scholars and historians have documented it beyond a shadow of doubt that communism has been an instrument of soviet foreign policy in its drive towards world domination. During our freedom struggle, CPI was against the Muslim league's demand of Pakistan and dismissed them as a group which represented landed interests. Furthermore, they never shied away from advocating violent overthrow of British government. So, they were considered as a revolutionary fringe of nationalist movement. So much so that Congress Socialist party gave them the opportunity to share the dais with them when they had been banned by the British to address public processions. However, their true colors came to light when Hitler attacked Soviet Union in 1941 and in the World War, Britishers were fighting against the Germans. When Congress decided to use this opportunity to overthrow British rule from India and launched quit India movement in 1942, communists opposed this move in the AICC session at Bombay. They propounded that imperialist has been transformed into a people's war simply because the Soviet union had been invaded by an enemy of Britain. They did a complete U-turn when they started supporting Muslim league's demand for Pakistan as an expression of Muslim nationalism and branded Subhash Chandra Bose and the whole national freedom movement as an attempt to collaborate with fascism
Out of the 4 strains mentioned above, Islamism and Communism have joined hands in India. Some of the achievements secured out of their teamwork includes:
1) When they effectively blocked the adoption of Hindi as our national language. Communists used the argument that it is not understood by all and it will impose the tyranny of North on South. On the other hand, they were seconding the attempts by Islamic forces in our country to declare Urdu as our national language. Hypocrisy of their support was blatant as even fewer people spoke Urdu in our nation
2) When communism won over the definition of secularism and turned it into synonymous with Islamic imperialism.
It is pertinent to note that the 3 ideologies have not yet started exchanging blows simply because their areas of operation have not yet coincided. They have chosen to feed upon different limbs of the large-sized Hindu society. Christianism is busy amongst Hindu "tribals" whom Hindu society had always left undisturbed. Islamism is on the prowl amongst the Harijans whom a power-hungry leadership is fast preparing for political blackmail. Communism is spreading its tentacles amongst the upper middle classes whom it parades as its "proletarian base". If we don't wake up early, they'll finish their respective limbs and come for the main body

The 3rd strain by the author has been named "Macaulayism". It has been named after the member of Governor General's Counicl, Mr. Thomas Babington Macaulay in the 1830s. He was entrusted with the task of coming up with a new education system for India, not because the existing system was not working or wasn't producing quality scholars, but because British agenda was to produce a class of Indian citizens brown of skin but English in taste and temperament. The extended purpose was to bring in the same centralized administration system in India as was functioning in England at the time. The system was geared towards maximization of state revenue and it required "properly educated gentlemen" who despised the "lower classes". This new class of citizens would hail the British raj and cooperate in securing stability in India. Thus, Hindu who suffers from this strain tends to focus only on rate of growth, gross national product and standard of living as the only criteria of progress. He/she believes that religion is a matter of private indulgence and doesn't interfere with its affect on the socio-political scene. Personally, for him/her, religion is irrelevant, though some of its rituals and festivities can occasionally add some color to life. However, most of it is obscurantism, primitive superstition and, in the Indian context at present, creator of communal riots. Such a person dreads risking his/her reputation of secularism and progressive which Islamism and Christianism confers upon him only so long as he/she silently tolerates their tirades against Hinduism. The tragedy if a Hindu victim of Macaulayism is that while he is acutely aware of the evils prevalent in Hindu society, he is not aware of Hindu doctrines which provide no sanction for these evils and which can be depended upon in any endeavor for their eradication. Furthermore, his tragedy is made doubly dangerous by his ignorance of the evils prevalent in non-Hindu societies in which he has never lived as an insider
The last strain is the Communist conspiracy. Scholars and historians have documented it beyond a shadow of doubt that communism has been an instrument of soviet foreign policy in its drive towards world domination. During our freedom struggle, CPI was against the Muslim league's demand of Pakistan and dismissed them as a group which represented landed interests. Furthermore, they never shied away from advocating violent overthrow of British government. So, they were considered as a revolutionary fringe of nationalist movement. So much so that Congress Socialist party gave them the opportunity to share the dais with them when they had been banned by the British to address public processions. However, their true colors came to light when Hitler attacked Soviet Union in 1941 and in the World War, Britishers were fighting against the Germans. When Congress decided to use this opportunity to overthrow British rule from India and launched quit India movement in 1942, communists opposed this move in the AICC session at Bombay. They propounded that imperialist has been transformed into a people's war simply because the Soviet union had been invaded by an enemy of Britain. They did a complete U-turn when they started supporting Muslim league's demand for Pakistan as an expression of Muslim nationalism and branded Subhash Chandra Bose and the whole national freedom movement as an attempt to collaborate with fascism
Out of the 4 strains mentioned above, Islamism and Communism have joined hands in India. Some of the achievements secured out of their teamwork includes:
1) When they effectively blocked the adoption of Hindi as our national language. Communists used the argument that it is not understood by all and it will impose the tyranny of North on South. On the other hand, they were seconding the attempts by Islamic forces in our country to declare Urdu as our national language. Hypocrisy of their support was blatant as even fewer people spoke Urdu in our nation
2) When communism won over the definition of secularism and turned it into synonymous with Islamic imperialism.
It is pertinent to note that the 3 ideologies have not yet started exchanging blows simply because their areas of operation have not yet coincided. They have chosen to feed upon different limbs of the large-sized Hindu society. Christianism is busy amongst Hindu "tribals" whom Hindu society had always left undisturbed. Islamism is on the prowl amongst the Harijans whom a power-hungry leadership is fast preparing for political blackmail. Communism is spreading its tentacles amongst the upper middle classes whom it parades as its "proletarian base". If we don't wake up early, they'll finish their respective limbs and come for the main body

Writer has crisply capture how Anti-Hindu's forces are united & working against the Sanatan Dharma.
This should be a eye opener for sleeping Hindu's abt the threat Hindu's civilization faces.
Its high time we rise above the caste, languages difference, North-South divide & stay united as Hindu. Only then, we can defeat these anti-Hindu forces or risk loosing our identify forever.

When many civilisations of the world succumbed to the invasion of Islamic, Christianity and Communism, India could sustain its culture. The author gives credit to Hindu Society for this. Although muslim and british invasion of India has been defeated and dispersed, they have managed to crystallise certain residues-psychological and intellectual which are now in active alliance with powerful international forces and holding Hindu Society under siege. These residues are Islamism, Christianism, Macaulayism and Communism.
In the chapter Residue of Islamism the author has summarised (i) the credo of Islamic Fundamentals (ii) Salient features of Islamic strategy of for muslims (iii) Salient features of strategy to be worked out by muslims to neutralise and paralyse Hindu Society (iv) Salient features of use of Arab money (v) gives reasons why Congress, socialist, Gandhian, Communist and self alienated Hindu patronised Islamism.
In the chapter Residue of Christianism the author discusses fundamentals of Christianism in India, covet methods used by them for weakening Hindu Society.
In the chapter Residue of Macaulayism the author discusses how it corrodes the soul of culture and corrupts a social system in slow stages, discusses its process, how they run down the Hindu who dares defy them.

This is a very powerful book of only 58 pages and I would love every Hindu to read this book.

It talks about how 1200 years of Islamic and Christianity rule over Hindus has not made the Hindu society, heritage and culture disappear unlike various other parts of the world like Persia, Egypt, Rome, Pre-Islamic, Arabia, Greece and others.
The book discusses the significance of Hindu society as the last of the ancient societies to survive the invasion of latter day idea ideologies and the methods and means employed by these ideologies to finish Hindu society as well.
My request is everybody should read this book with an open mind and decide for himself or herself on the merits posted by one of the greatest writers of our times. Sita Ram Goyal.

History as it happened. No white wash. A must read for all Hindus. Sita Ram ji is concise and clear. All claims backed by evidence. All students must read this book. Even though Sita Ram ji was writing about post Independent India, we can see how the truth and real History was wiped out by the communists, the academics, and the administration. Thank God for Historians like Sita Ram ji who wrote books to preserve the truth.

This is one of the most amazing books written in a succinct manner. It clearly analyses the problem faced by Hindu society & Macaulayism was explained very well. This may be one of first books ever written that calls out axis of evil, communism, Islamism & Christianism

A book that's a must read for everyone who wishes to understand the ideological convergence among Islam, Christianity and Communism. The convergence exists not only in the trio's tenets, but also the foundational doctrine, worldview, modus operandi and structure of religio-ideology. The book also talks about the trio's dismantling and invasion of the native Bharatiya syncretic culture.

This gives a true picture of what has happend to Hindu society and how Hindus are brainwashed slowly and steadily. This book is 1st published in 1981, but you can now see all things mentioned in books coming true. Definitely a must read for every Indian to open his/her eyes to truth!! A very balanced take and discussion on how all sections of Hindu society at large have been influenced by foreign ideologies and the essence of Sanatan Dharma, and what makes india secular and Democratic, it’s Hindu openness and inclusiveness is under threat due to missionary and expansionist ideologies and the plural fabric can get impacted.
