The Humans have destroyed 2,000 Alliance Warships and now they are taking the war to the worlds responsible for attempting to destroy Earth. The Alliance still has more than 48,000 Warships but the way things are going, they may not be enough. A new Queen has come to power and her impact on the struggle will be monumental.
The Annihilation Trilogy continues in the second book and the adventure intensifies as the forces arrayed against humanity are coming enmass. Hang on. The ride gets more intense.
Saxon Andrew is a former social worker with a degree in Psychology and Education from Mercer University. He has taught school, managed several sales organizations and owned his own business.
He has devoured science fiction since he first learned to read and his stories are the product of years of personal experience and exposure to the universes created by the genre’s great authors.
He lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife and two dogs who still appreciate his sense of humor after all these years. "Dogs are always ready to smile."
First book in series was excellent but then became more cliche as TAG and Danielle become more powerful and take over the entire galaxy. It borrows a lot from David Weber series without the depth his books have.
Great story but the grammatical errors became distracting. The book needs more editing to fix those errors. Overall, I still enjoyed it and will continue with the series in the future.
I enjoyed the book, though at times I was a bit incredulous, and at other times wondering how it was that happened. The psychic stuff makes sense, because doesn't have to make sense. However, when the Protagonist asks the Alien spaceship artificial intelligence which he has befriended to fill him in on current details about events occurring in the Alliance, I was wondering how the Alien artificial intelligence could possibly have access to those details. I personally don't find the motivational speeches to be all that motivational, nor convincing, nor do I particularly agree with their sentiments entirely; but it was a good effort...
The common thread with Saxon Andrews book is that the writing style is infantile and unimaginative. Theres always a golden bullet, a new weapon, a psychic power that manifests itself to save the day.
Re-reading this book about 10 years after the last time i read it makes me want to vomit. Why the fuck did i buy so many books in this series. Adult me just cannot comprehend why, when the likes of Nuttal, Currie and Deprima are also avaliable on the kindle store.
Another well written book. I would recommend this book. The story develops nicely and the characters evolve. I am very happy with this series so far. The next book is downloading as I write this review.
