Experience has never been Fujimaru’s strong suit, and nothing could have brought that point closer to home than his failure to open fire at Hosho. This single act of hesitation thus set off a whole series of crises…
THIRD-i is down one sharpshooter, and Fujimaru is once again at the receiving end of a hostage threat; only this time, it’s not only his sister’s life at stake but Otoya’s as well. Like an obedient puppet, he complies with their demands only to discover that they have been toying with him the whole time. Finally sobered by his own naivety, Fujimaru decides to take a risky gamble and spring a trap for the organisation. And the first step is to ask the head honcho of the terrorists out on a little tête-à-tête…
A lot more graphic (blood, violence) than previous volumes. I wasn't feeling it at all. The story is decent, but would've been better without some really graphic deaths.
The mind games continue in this volume. Falcon meets "J" in a cafe, the two teens sizing each other up. "J" remains quite the smug mystery, staging a false virus attack in order to escape the Third-I snipers. This along with some more betrayal and terrorist in-fighting made for an entertaining read.

This volume was sooooo dragging I left it unread for a month. I just couldn’t read it continously. I still don’t get why the bloody monday file was so important. There were just aa lot of kidnapping I can’t remember who already returned.
This whole story has been really like slow and not very well paced in my personal opinion, the concept is very interesting and cleaver, I just feel as if the execution could have done better, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
