When glittering socialite Jade Beacham's life falls apart, she's determined to make a completely fresh start. Packing away her designer wardrobe, she heads out to the arctic splendor of Alaska to become deliciously dangerous Rhys Cartwright's newest—and feistiest—employee….

Expecting a high-maintenance princess, Rhys finds Jade's enthusiasm and natural beauty surprising…and outrageously enticing! If working together is wicked torture, then giving in to temptation is worse—as their blistering night together plays havoc with Rhys's strict "one night only" rule….

This was an enjoyable read,Jade is a daughter of a rich man has been pampered and had every luxury in her life, engaged to Julian who is also from same high society circle where her family goes,it was all fairy tale she was very happy until one day the reality came in front of her eyes and everything shattered. She left her parents broke her engagement and now she wants to stand up on herself and has come to Rhys's company for 6 months training

Rhys is good man but has suffered emotionally when first he lost his brother whom he cared very much was very close and then Claudia whom he met was attracted and cared about her deeply but she took ignored the rules took rash decision and ended up dead and Rhys went into guilt and again the pain hurt helplessness made him take a decision he will never ever risk his heart again and expose himself to emotional pain again

Then comes Jade in his life both are attracted to each other but do not want relationships, they ignore it but end up giving in the desires and both feel the connection and Rhys realises Jade is already too deep so he acts like a jerk and hurts Jade tells her clearly what happened consider it as one night stand and it won't happen again

Jade who knows she has fallen for Rhys is really hurt but she continues with her training, then she comes to know that her father had called Callum requested so she got the job,Rhys tries to explain but Jade is in no mood to listen,Jade leaves

Rhys then realises he loves Jade and they talk it out and have their HEA.Enjoyed the banters between the Rhys-Jade Overall i enjoyed the book

oh Alaska, a princess(not really, rich girl more like it) whose world fell to crumble once reality hit her in the face, and a boss that's way to eager to judge.

I'll say that her reason for runing away from her life was, well, a proof of how much she lived in a cotton candy.

I rolled my eyes with all the- you desereve better, she's a spoiled princess, he looked at her with admiration, she finally got a wake up call, she wasn't returning to her previos life that were a big fat lie, he was running away, he was still running, hot hot hot, but we shouldn't, well maybe we should just a little, and a little more, you lied to me? and I always wanted to be that thing but my life didn't let me.

all that was bullshit (forgive my french).

what was nice? that she tried really hard, that he learned to appreciate her and that she knew she should go when she did, and that he went to get her back.

that's all. quick read. light and refreshing.
