Meh.

The advice can be passed up for the most part. I didn't find it particularly helpful, especially since I already have more than one child. It seems to have been written for someone who is about to have one and only one child, ever. They plan dinner parties, that they will host after the birth. Or brunches. There were some helpful bits about safety and cooking tools but that was about it.

The recipes are what you should read it for. They are simple and delicious. I am looking forward to trying some of the desserts and the vegetarian dishes.

A great idea, with lots of helpful information and tips at the beginning. I haven't tried many of the recipes, but I will definitely keep them in mind for our family meals.
